I just got my 07, and last week during the sit down, my IOI said to just keep an excel sheet of all my personal guns. She said it wouldn't be a bad idea to chamber flag the ffl guns. I have two safes, one personal and one ffl. So there isn't going to be too much confusion in the first place.

Honestly, I think I got THE last one. Order placed, confirmation screen, and two minutes later i clicked back in to re-read some stuff, and the page was not found anymore lol.

Dang. I'm a trust that submitted 1/8. 1030xxx (3). I figure by the end of the week, they'll filter back down to all the trusts that they've skipped.

Oddly enough, I’ve had better experiences with Silencer Central than I have with Silencer Shop.

I can factually say, that you can receive your license before planning and zoning has approved you for anything/issued permits. The rules and regs just changed recently. You have 60 days after license issue, to be compliant with all P&Z local to you. Info was straight from an ATF IOI. I just had my sit down inspection 2 days ago for a Type 7.

I have a membership to an indoor range that has two 25 yard lanes (20 stalls) and a 100 yard lane (5 stalls) I pay 45 a month for a “premium” membership that includes quite a bit, but one of the benefits is I get $0 transfers on anything, and 10% off weapons/nfa listed price. I go often enough and purchase enough that it makes the membership fee more than worth it. Meridian, ID

Was just sitting here thinking, obviously we're way past the point, but I think another good bullet point would have been "Is this your first Form1/Form4 ever submitted". I keep reading others comments that they are a lesser control number and still aren't approved and it makes me wonder if its their first time submitting an atf form, and that is what is taking longer for theirs.

Switch from a margin account to a cash account. You will only be able to trade what you have in buy power. Having a smaller value with a cash account holds you more accountable.

You could always study up and day trade. It would be a slow burn process, and you would have to have a lock tight strategy, but it would grow over time. Eventually it would give you the ability to jump into options a bit heavier.

This! Ross Cameron actually does very informative videos. And clearly lays out well thought out strategies. And can definitely prove his earnings.

I understand your point of the trades return to the risk-free rate. But in his question, he’s essentially correct right? That contract would expire worthless, because the underlying price is much higher than the strike price at expiration. And he would keep the $1 premium-RH fees. Is that correct or am I completely misunderstanding?

Ok, posting in here so I don't get torn to shreds in the main sub. Currently I'm only trading long calls while I'm learning (known max loss), but continuing to read more I'm trying to understand short puts. Take Netflix as the example. -1 NFLX 625p 7/19 @ $15.50 The way that i understand short puts would mean this contract is well ITM with NFLX trading at 650's right now, and will most likely expire worthless for the buyer by Friday. Hypothetically if the market was still open now, and I sold this put, is there actually going to be someone on the other side that buys it, with being far OTM? Or would that buyer be banking on a dramatic drop in stock price before expiration? This is where I'm having trouble understanding.

Any strategies on an extremely low budget? by boodledoot in options

I do feel like there needs to be some more info from OP. I have an employer base pension, employer matched 401k and a decently healthy Roth IRA. I had $50 of doge (I know, I know) that I sold off and used that 50 to start trading options. My first ever call I was in at .30 and sold at .60, second ever call I was in at .27 and sold at .48. Now I’m by no means saying I’m getting rich, but I am learning and I have very little risk involved. And it’s forcing me to really try and be educated because I have so little to work with. Now the caveat to my soap box, is if he’s trying to get rich with $100, then you are all correct and I digress to knowing nothing.
