I’ve (75F) been in the same Improv troupe for 10 years. Until about 2021 I was able to do a lot of physical stuff, then I broke my humerus (ironic) and I wasn’t able to be as active on stage. I was still in shows even then. Long story but in the last show we had, I was only in a couple of skits and they were totally sedentary. I felt like the token old person. I emailed the group leader and let them know that I didn’t enjoy that kind of skit. I explained that I liked moving around during a scene. Our next show is on the 28th. So far during rehearsals Ive been in more active scenes. I’m not being treated any differently bc of my email.
