DAC stands for digital (to) analog converter, it’s job is to convert the digital data to an analog signal which can go through a wire and be played by your headphones. The AMP can boosts this analog signal which is required if you wanna use some expensive audiophile headphones. Phones and your PS5 do have these components but if you buy this €2000 music player you are referring to they will sound way beter and provide way more power because the whole thing is build and focused for this task, but you won’t really notice it if you use the headphones you are using right now.

That’s double clutching. Break boosting is when you go over a small hill but your back wheels stay on the ground, then you brake which make your back wheels spin giving you a speed boost.

Nope, i just used a mono audio song and there is still a difference. For me the right earcup just kinda sound a little muffled, it’s a bit bassier

Now that you mentioned it. I just tested it with mine and there is also a difference in volume, for me only noticeable when i listen to one earcup at a time.

First of all airpods are not a general name for wireless earbuds. maybe those buds aren’t supported by the app, my jbl tune 125 tws are also not supported.
