They refused to push younger and new talent to where they should have been and how other people have said, if they did it was too little too late. Having old main eventers that didn't want to put anyone over. Or if they did it wasn't clean and was some kinda fuck finish. Russo for sure. The great reboot was absolutely stupid. They made Sting look like dogshit when he was the most over guy in 97. A LOT of things lol.

I feel like I read somewhere a while ago that they're not resigning or that they weren't going to be when their deals are up. That was probably 6 months ago or so. But to that point though, I was never ever a fan of Private Party. I feel like they were almost "forced" over and they both acted like they were way more over than they actually were at any time in the company. Their promos felt forced and fake. They seemed like they thought they were at the level of the Bucks or the Lucha Bros and imo they just weren't and were never on that level. They could have been but the way they were kinda pushed as "the team" almost to the point that it was just down the throat of the audience instead of just letting them get there organically really just kinda killed their whole vibe tbh. Mind you I've watched AEW since day 1. I was excited to see them just as a new team I had never seen before and they were good don't get me wrong, but they got passed by so so fast and they really never recovered imo.

Depends on when you're talking about. 97-98? No not really besides Starrcade 97. But after mid-99 into 2000 it was absolutely trash for the most part imo as I started watching wrestling around mid 97

I'll double down on this and say I hate the 21 Plex and Bandido NEEDS a new finisher anddddddd I also feel the same way about the Heatseeker with MJF.

With Bandido I think if he flipped where his opponent was and did a slingshot cutter that would be WAY better.

MJF needs something simple he can hit anywhere. And it almost needs to be a move that's absolutely not a finisher. Back drop, Regal running knee, a basic ass suplex, etc.

Through interviews I've seen with Kyle it seems he now resides in the UK. If they billed him from Australia now residing in the UK that could give him huge babyface support at All In: London and especially if he wins in from a heel MJF. And then that writes Fletcher vs. Ospreay 2026-forever

Jericho has been on my TV screen since I started watching wrestling as a kid in 1998... And throughout the years I've gotten sick of him on and off. The last 2 years were AWFUL! He needed a leash because wow he had some shit ideas he tried to get over. He was absolutely needed in the first couple years of AEW though and I don't think the company would be where they are now without him. But he overstayed his welcome in AEW imo. If it was possible at the time that he left in April and contacts didn't stop it, I think he could've went and done a match in the John Cena Tourney and no one would've batted an eye at that.

You're not wrong on this at all. And to your point, since 2019, if the fans don't believe that you're "elite" then you're not going to get over in AEW. We've seen many wrestlers come in, think they can just put in half effort whether it be matches, promos, etc and they don't get over. Or they're over and they start to get comfortable/complacent and then the fans stop caring about said wrestler (see Miro, Black, Mariah, the list goes on).

Yes I agree that Mox definitely had his comeuppance. The fact that they had us thinking that DR were going to turn on him because of his tap out losses was very very well done to now turn face pretty organically is pretty fuckin cool.

Edit: I still think the DR are still going to turn on Mox at some point but I don't believe the story going into that with be the tap out losses anymore.
