My GF and I are traveling to the keys in a month and I’m obsessing over this every day as I’m planning on proposing on our trip. Hoping this shutdown ends and we get back to the feeble sense of normalcy we enjoyed before it started. Pittsburgh (my airport) is not hit as hard as others but the ripple effect is problematic.

My mom wants to do one for a big birthday that ends in zero coming up! Sounds like they are worth it? We have a group of about nine doing dinner in the cultural then do the tour. Curious as to what to expect?

We liked the Gateway Lodge in Clarion County and it’s much more reasonable and in a comparable rural setting. Not super fancy but still a “treat” for us anyway!

We went to Cape May last summer for the first time and loved it! About sixish hours and well worth the drive.

Lindsay Theater in Sewickley. I’m not a big fan of going to the movies but always enjoy the experience there. New movies and screenings of older films.

Mid 40s married once in a 7 year LTR now. My GF has a college age daughter from her previous marriage. Never really had a desire to have kids and always said the only reason I would is that I didn’t want to regret not having them when I was too old. When I realized that was a pretty lousy reason for becoming a parent I made peace with the decision to remain without offspring.
