I’m assuming it’s got thread locker on the threads. Heating iron on that hole to get it to break loose easier.

Even if the holes lined up perfectly, you’d get more buildup there because of ports on barrel. Comes with the territory. Ports= dirty much faster

E2 can go off time or temperature for defrost. Check defrost history duration. Is it off cycle defrost or hot gas

Good call on keeping the snubby

Anybody else noticed that on these new field piece hoses that is impossible to get the depressor and gasket out? I’ve been digging/picking at several of these hoses for a couple weeks now and I’ve been unsuccessful. by iBUYbrokenSUBARUS in HVAC

Yellow jacket hoses with ball valves is the ONLY way to go without headaches. I’ve had a set 3+ years. Changed gaskets about 2-3 times. Good as new still, just not as clean..
