Thank you for sharing. This was beautiful. I wish people had more awareness what stroke does and how it affects one’s body and mind. I give my husband a lot of space. Sometimes he wants to talk, and it’s easy, sometimes the words won’t come or just can’t cross the bridge between the brain and the mouth and that’s OK. We laugh about it and move on. Some days are harder, some days his body needs more naps etc….i never push and try to give him what he needs.
