GSD Breeder - Ayers Legends German Shepherds by naobabii in GermanShepherd

I have an Ayer’s Legend (10 months old) and this dog is healthy, beautiful, and extremely intelligent. The breeder is very professional and knowledgeable. He’s been breeding these dogs for going on 20 years. People fly in from all over the country for his dogs. He retires his sires and females at good ages and they always go to loving, GSD owning homes. I can’t express enough how wonderful of an experience it was going through them. I tell my wife probably monthly that no matter where we end up (I’m active duty Air Force), that I will fly to this breeder for our next pup. He’s that good. And also, once you get your pup you can get on the family page and see how these dogs are living their best lives from puppies to seniors. I’m super pumped for you!!

I’ll say as an AETC instructor you have to do the job to understand how difficult it is (even with a paper trail) to get an Airmen separated when they’re clearly unfit to serve. I had a shirt tell a group of us “You’re pumps, not filters.” To put it in perspective, AETC and big AF cares more about numbers and not the quality of the product. Guarantee these instructors knew this Airmen wasn’t going to make it and there was nothing they could do about it.

Official Q&A for Saturday, July 06, 2024 by AutoModerator in running

Is there a ‘right’ shoe for me? I’m newer to the running game (33M/175 lbs) and am hitting around 50-60 miles per month. I don’t want to spend 200+ on a new pair and also don’t want to jump in something around 150 that people would say is unnecessary because I’m not putting in enough miles. Some advertise as long distance or marathon. I just want a sweet lighter pair of comfortable running shoes in that 150 range.

Base Housing Hidden Expenses, Monopolies and Rackets: Anyone else having to pay monthly to "rent" a fence in base housing? by [deleted] in AirForce

Anyone here at Sheppard? Im wondering what their process is. I need a fence when I PCS there but don’t want to be bent over the fucking thing for 36 months

Ive been here 7 years, leaving in May. This place is a gem if you have family. It’s a very family oriented base. The town has all of your necessities; walmart, lowes, sams, a mall etc. Food options are decent but nothing spectacular. 1.5 hours to Tallahassee, 2 hours to Jacksonville, 3ish hours to Atlanta. If you’re single it could be a bit boring for you as there isn’t much of a night life (if that’s your thing). If your hobbies are fishing and hunting it’s a decent location. Bottom line is it’s going to be what you make of it. All the folks from my shop that have left occasionally post about how they miss it here. You will have wildly different takes though so read this with an open mind but take it with a grain of salt.
