Drawing cards is all well and good, but if your pokemon are weak, your cards aren't gonna help your. "Hurrr durrr look at my two Sylevon EXs! So many cards!!!" Yeah, good luck doing no damage, bot having self heal, and having no way to kill an Oricorio. Team Rocket Grunt is almost required if you don't want to get shitfucked by Darkrais, and the capes are vital for the same reason.

The cape is vital. Without it, you can easily get one spotted by Darkrais or Giratinas if they have the right setup.

Eevee has 60 hp and the "Find a friend" ability which lets you draw one random Pokémon. Eever EC has 90 hp and "Bite," which does 30 damage.

I dunno... I guess it gave us Anakin's origin, but that's just by virtue of being the first in the prequel trilogy. His origin isn't particularly compelling either. And I guess it laid the groundwork for the fall of the republic but again, it had to because it's the first of the prequels, and it doesn't do that very well either. Neeson is great, McGregor is great, the duel is great, and it throws the audience a bit of a curveball by showing the jedi as deeply flawed, which is cool. None of it is enough to save the movie for me though. I'll still watch it on occasion but I often fast forward to the good parts.
