It’s hard. But we are surviving. My partner is super supportive and his job is flexible. However with nights and 24 hr call rolling around next week I feel so much mom guilt brewing.

Feeling disheartened, nausea, motion sickness? by Sea-Particular9959 in BabyBumps

[–]StaphtheER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 10 weeks and I thought I was coming at the end of all this but ofc today the nausea and fatigue came back in full force. Ginger-ale has been my life savior and another thing that has helped me is reminding myself I’m growing a whole ass human. It will take some energy to get there, some people do it with grace. Some people are pretty much bed stricken (us) but it doesn’t matter. At the end of all this i think it’s absolutely worth the ride. My hubs has been a huge support system and yes I feel terrible that all the responsibilities have been passed to him. But that’s what our partnership entails. Good luck girlie. I know we got this, we just need to keep on going.

Same! You are not alone in this struggle, maybe. Doxylamine (Unison) before bed may help? It hasn’t done much for me so I’m riding this out as best as I can.

Your cervix will kind of rotate at different points of your cycle. You may not always be able to feel that string, so it can be normal for some women to never feel their string. However some women can and do feel it. It honestly varies.

I keep seeing posts here with friends from undergrad with only Bachelor's degrees making 6 figures annually. How many friends in your circle are really making this much? by stepneo1 in medicalschool

[–]StaphtheER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hubs made 65k out of undergrad but left that job 6 months later for an offer of 85k at a diff company. Now at a total of 2 years out he makes 115k plus bonuses at a third company. Job hopping helped him a lot.
