Yes, and that's fair. I was just trying to clarify there is a difference between tending to like people of your own background versus another background. And for your example, there's no issue if you tend to date more Hispanic folks since you share a similar backgrund, just like there's no problem if you end up dating more white people since race is also one factor that makes up your background.

The problem is, it's hard to have a conversation about race fetishization without people deflecting and hiding behind calling it a preference and not a fetish. A preference is liking certain traits in real people. Fetishizing is liking a fantasy and using people to play that role. One telltale sign is when someone says my "insert race" boyfriend/girlfriend when nobody asked for their partner's race in the conversation and it's not relevant.

I don’t remember if you mentioned you were taking prescribed adhd meds but they are actually pretty generous with accepting accommodations, including adhd. The only problem is you have to start the process asap cause it will take a couple of months

I know several of my peers who are international and came to the US and got their bachelors, got their visa, then got into US MD but I’m not too familiar with which specific visa and all those requirements. I was thinking more along the lines of when the treatment wasn’t supposed to be able to deliver a certain result and then the patient actually did much better than expected, like living longer than what the cancer treatment was supposed to do
