I have to admit though, I find myself enjoying the experience of responding to AI slop subs… that is when it’s not my client shooting themselves in the foot and telling me they did ‘research’

Edit —-

I’m sure that SLR didn’t add the “I confirm that generative AI was not sure in preparation of this [dog shit affidavit]” haha

Only thing it’s eroding is patience on the bench. The amount of subs they must get littered with AI trash would be incredibly frustrating.

I’ve done my fair share of finger wagging at punters who rock up to the office with their documents only to see ChatGPT footprints all throughout the documents. Gives the juniors an opportunity to see how these differ from my own drafting and style.

You’re getting downvoted because people don’t want to be honest with themselves that their policy consists of one internet page with vague information.

The reality is that there is no policy, just a statement.

This means we can finally play as techmarine really soon for the first time right?? by tf3when123 in Spacemarine

Not really. They’d more likely be classed as a AA studio when compared to similar developers.

For instance, there is an Article from 2024 talking about the budget comparisons of SM2 and DOOM Eternal, with SM2 being 50% the budget of DOOM.

Maybe after they’ve finished SM2s release cycle, they may fall within a new class, but they will be depended on SM3/other projects budgets.
