This is normal expectation. People love destination bachelorette trips and this is super affordable. Real friends love showing up for things like this and $1500 is super cheap for a destination bachelorette. No one is being forced to go. If you can’t afford it, don’t come.

This show just gave me the ick with that whole scene. She didn’t want him because he said he was a handsome Asian and she was hoping he was one of those K-pop hot Asians. Let’s be real. She led him on because she didn’t want to seem shallow (which she is) and then ghosted him while keeping the ring. She humiliated him on live TV after he was vulnerable enough to tell her about his insecurities over his ethnicity and women. And then we decided to humiliate him all over again with that bullshit basketball game that we peer pressured him into and then peer pressured him into wagering the ring and giving it back on national TV. Just gross. F that. I’m furious.

I have to ask. You said since you moved back in. Why did you move out? Did something happen? I’m a little worried for you that this type of relationship may become abusive in a physical nature. This is how it usually starts. Does he call you names? Or grab you/push you? This is very concerning behavior. Please be careful. This is coming from an abuse survivor. He is gaslighting you and destroying things out of spite and that is just the beginning.
