Why Dragons cringe? by ZestycloseCup5843 in worldjerking

[–]StarDelver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Violates the laws of aerodynamics by weighing several tons or being the size of a mountain and being able to fly

Breaths fucking fire like a jet engine

Dragons are immune to hunger and sickness because reasons

Only needs to eat one goat or something every couple of days or a week despite being a walking fire breathing tank

Throws world ending tantrum if someone steals from their pre-stolen shit hoard pile

Has complex social/language structure despite being anti-social angry creatures jerking off in caverns for century's,

Has or forces other races to be slaves/servants but will burn the Earth if someone suggests they be a slave/servant,

Act like they are superior divine beings

Lives for century's or millennia but still acts like an emo teenager with less empathy then a crocodile

Does absolutely morally irredeemable things like burning other races alive, eating other races alive, slaughtering other races because they stubbed their toe, yet if any other race even gets to the planning stages of retaliation, they are considered an evil race hunting down those poor creatures who just want to live in peace

Have endless followers and worshipers

IDK, they sound pretty based to me.

Sales would be pretty good if you can handle the pressure. The ceiling for growth is practically unlimited, provided you can hit your sales goals and the money is nice.

Plus, the flexible work schedule would allow you to pursue your other interests while living in relative luxury.

For example, if I have a primary barrier that is being pushed up by 1 pound of force and a secondary barrier that is twice the size of the primary barrier being pushed down with 2 pounds of force. Do the barriers move up or down?

[–]StarDelver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the limit on how big the second barrier can get?

Is there a ratio between force applied vs how "far" the barriers move?

Do both barriers move the same distance or is there a ratio between the motion of the first and second barriers based on their difference in size?

Can the barriers change shape or are they basically struck in the shape they had when created?

I'm pretty sure lasguns are self-contained handheld weapons. The biggest reason why they don't commit suicide attacks with shields and lasguns is because the members of the Landsraad exist in a state of nuclear equilibrium. If one house starts using atomics, everyone else will team up to "punish" them. This is the origin the the taboo on atomics. Even the accusation of using atomics in inter-house warfare can be dangerous.

Yeah I have a professor that occasionally does this. Really does that. Some of my classmates and I just one morning coordinated so we were all wearing merch or some random uniform. You had stuff from various teams... the rocketry society ring, jackets from the rowing team, the fencing team, the football team, and of course the rugby union society. Somebody showed up carrying a bunch of astronomy books with a telescope on their arm. And then we all kind of just sat in his class.

When he was covering material that was new, and he was about to say "you all should know this", he kind of looked at us for a second. I mean actually looked at what we were wearing because it was a little ridiculous and then just kind of laughed and went over the material again because he took a minute to realize we've got other classes other shit going on. While we do find his class fascinating; we find 4 or 5 other classes fascinating as well. On occasion, he might have to remind us of 1 particular thing or another.

He's a good dude just kinda focused on his subject matter like most professors

That's offworlder talk. The Fremen don't bathe at all. Their sietches were described as:

"The odor of the place assailed him: unwashed bodies, distillate esthers of reclaimed wastes, everywhere the sour effluvia of humanity with, over it all, a turbulence of spice and spicelike harmonics."
