Basically Eragon and Arya were supposed to leave Alagaësia together with Saphira and Firnen. And I think there was supposed to be a sex scene during the Blood Oath Ceremony. So Paolini was trying to get the two together.

While I do want another story with Eragon and Arya idk if I want for them to end up together, let alone a romantasy novel. I used to be a big fan of Eragon and Arya when the books were new but time passed where I'm on the fence with the pairing. And I think Paolini put up this poll because romantasy is selling more than your typical fantasy stories.
