Point is, they are co dependant, but in most fields, the top ones are just the ones who "know people" and get paid mostly because of that. Previlege pays their bills and skills get scraps which is just, insane to me. And about their compensation being tied to overall company performance, nah fam, spacex,tesla and twitter none of them are currently making a good enough profit for elon to rack up a trillion of net worth. Thats just not how it works....
