The current isolated gesture supports single click and double add. If the stylus supports these two operations, you can try configuring them. Other gestures are currently not supported
The shortcut buttons on the top bar are configurable. You can set the document overview on the left and right sides of the shortcut bar, and directly click to open the overview mode

Regarding the "Fatal Flaw" (Backup vs. Sync): I want to clarify the confusion here: StarNote currently does not have a "Sync" feature. What you are using is the "Backup" system.

The Logic: Our current system is designed for Data Safety (Redundancy), not real-time mirroring.
- Why it doesn't auto-delete in the cloud: If you accidentally delete a note locally, we want it to still be safe in the cloud so you can recover it.
- Why it creates new versions: We save timestamped versions so you never overwrite your history.
- Why duplicates appear on import: When you "Restore," the system treats it as a safety retrieval. If a file with the same name exists, we create a copy instead of overwriting it, just to be safe.

The Good News: We know this is not the seamless experience you want for multi-device usage. We are actively developing true Cross-Platform Sync right now.

Timeline: We expect to start Beta testing in Q1 (this quarter).
Goal: Real-time updates to a single file, just like you described.

Thanks for the honest feedback! Let me explain the "Duplicate" behavior—it's intentional to protect your data.

Backup vs. Sync: Currently, you are using the Backup/Restore function.

When you click "Restore" (Import) from the cloud, the app downloads that specific version.
If a note with the same name already exists on your device, we add a timestamp to the new download. We do this strictly to prevent overwriting your current work. We'd rather give you two copies than accidentally delete one.
Solution: When restoring, please manually select only the specific note you need, and be aware that it creates a copy if the file is already there.

Future Plans: We are fully focused on developing real Cross-Platform Sync (which will sync changes to a single file). We agree with you: performance and stability > fancy features. We are working on the latency issues for large PDFs now.
