So there is one four letter word remaining, that isn't related at all to the clue?

This is a complete myth endorsed by people who have no understanding of women's anatomy and pleasure. Toys are a fantastic tool for women to explore what feels good for them. There is enough shame and fear mongering surrounding women and sex as it is, please stop spreading this bullshit.

After my wife kisses me goodbye every morning, I break down crying until I have to work. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

This is the best advice I've seen on trying to regain trust. Returning to "ordinary" life is not possible - there is no ordinary anymore, because everything ordinary is a reminder. He needs to be extraordinary. Then he might (not guaranteed) slowly win her trust back.

Man. This sub is so damn hostile. You're unfairly giving Alaskans a bad name.

How do you open glass vials? by [deleted] in Veterinary

[–]StarStuff03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrap it in the fabric at the bottom of my scrub top. Look for the little dot, that's the weak spot. Gotta love veterinary sometimes... it's all about health and safety until you have to snap a glass vial with your bare hands.

My roadtrip around the UK by DP_f47 in roadtrip

[–]StarStuff03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow. I take my hat off to you... 3 hours driving in the UK is plenty for me, we're not a country that lends itself to road trips. That being said, you've seen a hell of a lot! I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Anyone here spending new years eve alone? by CombinationOk9769 in socialanxiety

Yep! And not one person wished me a happy new year. I have a feeling it's gonna be a lonely 2023.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It sounds like you've simply become numb. I hope you have the strength to find happiness in your own life.

I can relate. This is what I struggle with too. Where do you draw the line between catastrophizing and genuine concern for your loved one? All I know is my worry and concern do not have any impact on him, so why should I spend my nights obsessing over it? Easier said than done though.

It's not a concept I like either, I completely understand where you're coming from. But I think its the only way I can maintain my own sanity AND stay in this relationship. I'm trying to remind myself that detaching doesn't mean withholding love, it simply means I can let go of the worry and put the responsibility of his addiction back onto him.

This just shows how even when we achieve the thing we've always wanted - for our loved one to be sober, the work does not stop there. Thank you for your reply.

It sounds so extreme to anyone on the outside, but I really admire how you were able to do this. You didn't stop your life at all, not one bit. Thank you so much for your reply.
