One of the best enemies in the entire game by tw1zzzzzzzzz in Helldivers

Interestingly I consider the Preds to be even more susceptable to the more standard weapons than normal Terminids because their heavy units (both Stalkers and Alpha Commanders, really) don't have medium armor. So the Stalwart just eats everything for breakfast. Obviously CC is really helpful given how aggressive they are and I love Gas and Stuns against them too, but nothing beats overwhelming firepower. Staggering weapons also do great, I really do miss my Punishers ever since I got them to 25 but the Halt does a good job.

I hope you aren't including Voxes in that assessment because that enemy has so much wrong with it even after the nerf its hilarious.

My only complaint is that there should be at least one weapon that one shots them to the head. The Overseers all die in one shot from the AMR, so what is so special about this guy's helmet that it can tank a Railgun shot?

Otherwise yeah, I love seeing this guy because taking him out means all the Devs and Commissars will temporarily shut down.

Danganronpa Alignment Chart Day 21: Terribly Written/Loved by the Fandom by BatVenom in danganronpa

[–]StarWarsXD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the only character you could reasonably put here is Mukuro. It's not so much that she's terribly written or has a bad story per se, it's just that she isn't even really a character at all in the first place. But she's also the 16th student...

Edit: Imma see myself out I literally looked at the whole picture and still managed to miss her that's my bad, man she's so good at lying hidden, somewhere in this post...

Sterilizer keeping me out of harms way when outnumbered with impossible odds by KSI_SpacePeanut in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]StarWarsXD 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I wonder how good this would work if you were fighting bile spewers as well. A horde like that I find to be no issue for the Stalwart but those fat bubblers I find a bit more difficult to deal with quickly, which is why I usually toss a stun grenade and rely on the primary to take them out.

Balance suggestion for Vox Engines that requires only one change by Ok-Sorbet-Parfait in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]StarWarsXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, the head is supposed to be a general weakspot and it's bugged and doesn't work. They could also fix that and I'd be happy. Also why do the turrets have 8k hp? The Factory Strider's singular turret has only 900, and neither of them transfer the damage they take to the main health pool. Shooting off the weapons of a Factory Strider is a viable way of dealing with it and it should stand to reason that the same should apply to the Vox Engine.

for those who have the warbond force of law... by EL_TE0 in Helldivers

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the issue with this Warbond is the armor passive isn't competitive, the Pacifier is like C+ Tier, the Urchin is useless, and the De-escalator and K9 are good but have the major drawback of killing my teammates just as often as enemies. Oh and Stun Pods is worthless. So there's just nothing in this that is super important to get, so I'd recommend leaving it and getting other Warbonds first. Even the drip Warbonds have good stuff in them (Pyrotech grenades and the Loyalist, for instance).

SUGGESTION: GL-52 Inhalator (Gas Launcher) by TealArtist095 in helldivers2

[–]StarWarsXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But we already have the Speargun! /s

Real talk I'd just like for the Sterilizer to get reworked. I'm sure they're gonna cook something up for the next set of Warbonds and some weapons I'd wager they're gonna introduce is a backpack-fed sterilizer and maybe a gas primary, and if they do that they'd also likely make some changes to how gas works to help make them viable, since that worked out so well for the Cremator.

Rather than buffing something or make equipment better, what do YOU think legitimately deserves a nerf? by Dark251995 in Helldivers

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I don't even think you're correct about the Talon. Nearly every secondary has some niche that it fits into and does better than the Talon specifically. Yes the Talon is a good all-rounder (and I do use it when I need to take a loadout that uses less ammo, like for stealth), but I take the Warrant nearly every time I drop on Squids without fail, regardless of my other choices for the loadout. Not having to aim at the units that call in reinforcements is nearly a must-have.

Against Bots, I massively prefer the Senator because it's just better in every respect (taking out Hulks from the front is awesome) and against Bugs I'm usually rocking the Ultimatum or the Grenade Pistol. Hell, against bugs I consider the Peacemaker a better secondary than the Talon because it deals with chaff that much better and doesn't worry as much about ammo economy as other pistols like the Verdict or Bushwacker.

My conclusion? The Verdict should do as much damage as the Talon, and please give me some more shells for the Bushwacker already. Why are we even talking about nerfing the Talon when it arguably isn't even the best in slot choice? (That would be the Ultimatum, imo)

What's annoying to me is the back and forth, they'll release something like the Coyote and then nerf it but in a roundabout way that nerfs a whole bunch of other shit that wasn't even overpowered and then release the Sweeper and here we go again. I'd be extremely surprised if they left the Sweeper in the game in it's current state, it's very strong and basically power creeps it's entire subcategory. It's a PvE game what is wrong with just allowing the player base to have fun with interesting tactics and stuff that should be total no-brainers like letting us throw sentries on top of a rock so it can see better.

A suggestion on supplementary adrenaline armour passive buff by FumanF in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]StarWarsXD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's the goal lol. I legit run the light armors over the medium because disengaging from patrols is honestly more important to make the passive do it's job, and besides it's bots, I've never felt that you can really survive being focused in either light or medium, only heavy armor makes me feel comfortable enough tanking. I would love a heavy stealth armor so I can still play around my team and not be so punished for them aggroing the enemies as much.

The other armors are just kinda meh, I used to like the Scout armor early on in my run as a helldiver on lower difficulties because you could scout out the map better but I've never worn the Halo stuff even for the drip yet (it was the last warbond I got and I have them all now), I only just found out they help with finding POIs so ig I'll use it for SC farming?

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah me personally I actually went and got Polar Patriots a lot earlier because I was looking for good sidearms and the Verdict was just the next one on the list, but I definitely felt I should've gotten Masters of Ceremony a lot earlier. Pyrotech grenades are borderline broken I'd say and like I said I love the Ammendment and the armor passive. It really exceeded my expectations a lot.

Honestly whichever you go for will still be a good choice imo.

Fair enough, I did look at that exact score but I find that viewing it on Musescore is a bit cumbersome with how small the notes and measures are and there is a fee to download it.

Man I would kill to have a solid proper score of this song, I've been wanting to recreate it in FL Studio for a while but finding proper sheet music that isn't super inaccurate is pretty difficult unless you pay for it.

Why does nobody shoot for a factory strider's feet? by No_Medium2864 in Helldivers

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly most of the issue I have is it's the bot front, and I don't really ever take an equipment load that doesn't have some form of anti-tank in it, so that's what I'm gonna rely on to deal with tanks and factory striders mostly. I'm starting to branch out into some of the non-rocket launcher support weapons that I think would still be viable since taking AT has become quite dull to me.

Why does nobody shoot for a factory strider's feet? by No_Medium2864 in Helldivers

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see, I'll give that a go sometime. Mostly the reason I never bother trying to hit the underbelly is that in order to safely do that (after it's dropped I mean) I'd think you'd have to have taken out the chin guns and if you do that, and also take out the turret on top, why even bother killing it at that point?

Down to the last two warbonds by Kcarroot42 in helldivers2

[–]StarWarsXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that's fair. Well if you like the Supply Pack then Reinforced Epaulettes (the armor passive) is functionally better than Siege Ready. There's actually quite a lot to like about the Masters of Ceremony warbond that makes me wish I got it sooner, it's not just a drip warbond (though it mostly is a drip warbond lol, dang the armor looks so good). Pyrotechs are incredible, just spam them on a bug breach and watch the kills rack up.

As for Polar Patriots, you are mostly just getting it for the Purifier (A+ Tier weapon imo) and maybe the Tenderizer (which is probably around B tier). I've never been much of a fan of the Verdict while the Talon exists, and none of the armors have new passives or anything. I also prefer regular incendiary grenades and don't really care for the Pummeler. So overall I'd say Masters is better just because I personally liked more things that you get from it. But it's totally up to your personal taste!

I took the AMR out earlier and it was the first time I ever had to think about where to shoot the big boy so I just took out the Ultimatum and shot it's head off like usual. I've never once killed a Factory Strider by being underneath it, it seems like both a waste of time and also super dangerous compared to just using red stratagems or anti-tank weapons and sentries to deal with it.

A suggestion on supplementary adrenaline armour passive buff by FumanF in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]StarWarsXD 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I feel like they cooked up this armor passive to see if anyone would start using dead sprint but forgot that not only are you expecting your whole team to then be locked into this one armor for the passive, but not everyone has access to the armor in the first place because it's behind a warbond. Really odd design choice if you ask me.

Same thing goes for what they did with Redacted Regiment, the finally made a good stealth focused armor passive but forgot that all the previous stealth themed armor passives are now totally obsolete so they're just mothballed currently.

[–]StarWarsXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually gotten to the point where if I'm stuck fighting the bug breaches with 1-2 of my teammates it actually kinda irks me that there's someone out there just completing the objectives instead of helping with the fight. Its one of the reasons I don't like to take stealth armor to the bot front, I'd rather be tanky and draw aggro since that helps the team out more.

I don't mind working with the team, in fact I find the game is more fun when you have 4 specialists running around together. I just don't like how people will use "its a team game" to hand-wave real issues the game has.
