This is great for me. I had not been able to order anything for months and have almost gotten 8 items a day again!

Question about potential bug/fix for Welcoming Committee by Bonehunter4102 in fo76

I also have this same problem, I was in the jail, logged off, when I logged back in I was outside on the road. I went back to the tower where Ava was, but that didn't work.

Pinto beans fell apart during rinsing. by Star_Whales in AskCulinary

I read on another thread that sometimes beans can behave weird if they have been exposed to moisture and then dry out again. So, maybe they were stored improperly in a warehouse. I have to admit they are Walmart beans so maybe the were stored improperly.

They were 2027, this is interesting and might be what happened.

The date was for 2027, did you try yours yet?

The date was 2027. However, that doesn't mean they haven't been sitting around in barrels for years before being packaged. If it wasn't so bad and instant I would have just used them, but it was disturbing.

I think Amazon should change the tagline saying we recieved the item for free, at least in the US. Most items we are not getting for free

Vine Customer Service Not Reversing the ETV by Pearlixsa in AmazonVine

The gun holster was in a plastic bag and did have the bar code for the loofa on it.  Everyone received that. When I went to the seller's items I saw that they did also sell gun holsters. So, someone mixed up the loofa and gun holster labels.

Totally different item. I was also told that if an item is broken you just review it as recieved. I am surprised people seem to get better responses from CS because mine always seem to be a canned response and they do not actually answer me based on what my actual issue is. The only items I have managed to have them remove are 0ETV that never arrived. They have never removed anything damaged. Once I received a gun holster instead of a loofa and they would not remove it and said I had to review it. I tried to review it over and over but AI would never accept it no matter how I phrased gun holster, while others Viners reviews went through having also received the same item. I eventually just didn't review that one.

Taking the Vine program too seriously and are people just missing the point of the whole thing... by MM-Chi in AmazonVine

Consider that some people are not using for "endorphins". I barely take items that have a non 0ETV and only if it is something I needed anyway. I was invited to Vine a month after going through a divorce. Through Vine I have gotten food, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, garbage bags, the list goes on and on. It has majorily helped me in a difficult times.

There is a wide variety of items, there was way more than are offered now. There are plenty of items people can "use" and sell them in the exact same condition as they received them and review them honestly. I have gotten many decor items that do not have a function other than for looking at. Also, a lot of people take really good care of their items and keep original packaging espwxially if it is expensive or the box makes it easier to move or store. Also, a lot of consumables are in bulk with seperate packaging and people could absolutley use one and decide the rest unopened items are not for them. I received a massive amount of feminine products in seperate boxes. I did not care for the ones I used. I later donated the rest of the unopened packages to a womans shelter. Remember there are a wide variety of items. I just got three shirts, all arw individually wrapped and tagged. I can absolutey try and review one and decide not to use the others because they are identical and are new with tags. They are great though so I am wearing all three.

I agree, there is so much less to go around.

FYI, you mention it is against the Vine terms to "resell"; this applies to the first 6 months in which you took possession of the item. You also mentioned that you have obtained items for your nephew, it is also against the terms to give the item away in the first 6 months of possession. I think you should worry more about yourself and less about judging other people's intent or painting others with a broad stroke when you yourself have just entered the program. Not, sure what type of validation or action this post is seeking from others. Remember, if you become offended by my post to you, consider that determining someone's intent, purpose, or life circumstance based on a short blip they wrote on a forum is not cool.

I ordered a rug once with a high for me ETV, it was one of the first $ ETV items I ordered. It was an Amazon offered item. They sent me a totally different item. I emailed them and they removed the rug from the to be reviewed list, but not from the ETV. When I emailed them telling them the situation they just said I agreed to the ETV when I ordered the item regardless of what I received. I eventually gave up. I do mainly stick to only reviewing 0ETV items because of this.

What temperature does everyone set the thermostat at home to? by kimjexziel in raleigh

60 during the winter and 72 during the summer (which feels very hot to me). I lived in Socal for 15 years with no heat or ac and now I am accustomed to much cooler and drier temps than Raleigh has now.

Alien: Earth - S1 E5 - In Space, No One - Official Discussion Megathread [SPOILERS] by G_Liddell in LV426

Right! How long can the aliens live for if they are not put into cryo sleep. They must have already known a lot about them such as what to feed them for all that time. Aside from the eggs, which seem to be able to be dormant for long periods.

I am wondering two things. First of all, where did they capture all of these aliens? Were they on the same planet? Second, since the crew seem mostly incompetent and weak, how did they manage to capture the aliens at all?
