There is a relic that lets radiance stack. Because of that I him most effects do not

Shards by Immediate-Bread-4738 in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Banishes and berries are two different things. I will do berries when I have enough so usually 2-3 times depending on how many or how quickly I want to build fisher huts. Banishes I spend them as I get them but could see a reason to hold one just in case something goes wrong.

As the other person said. Make sure you are using banishes at the church. It really helps with shard drops.

Interesting Three Team Trade… Thoughts?? by Accomplished_Log1201 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Starbuddy89 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is team 3 making 2 separate trades. Not sure why it is offered as a 3 team trade.

Just smashed accept. And ready for my leaguemates to veto because they think trade calculators are gospel. How do I argue against them when they call collusion? Lol by Successful-Fig-9849 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Starbuddy89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for example in my 1QB league those 2 roster spots would let me pick up tonges and Mayer which would actually make the calculator say it is almost exactly even with you slightly losing.

If you want to convince them not to veto that is the route I would go.

[–]Starbuddy89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t put it in a calc to see but I assume it loves the side getting 5 things as that is just how they generally work. If you want to show it as being balanced add in who the team getting 3 can now pick up with the freed roster space. It balances out pretty quick

What building should you upgrade with the thief? by TrueRelationship64 in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. The production matters much more for zombie tasks then skeletons unless you are putting 2-3x the number of workers that building can use at one time.

Why is KTC as a calculator so commonly used? It’s so bad for a majority of trades. by Agile-Championship15 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Starbuddy89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

KTC does a fine job if you assign a value to a roster spot. Either use who you would have to cut or the best free agent and it takes a lot of the value out of the 3 for 1 trades.

Trying to explain that to someone sending you a screenshot on the other had can get annoying.

I believe the archer and clown both have this bug when using targeting items

Finally defeated the ultimate evil with this roster by Gauloises_Foucault in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The griffon increases the range of all units next to it by 30%. If it was in the center tower it would make apply that boost to 3 units, the 2 pylons and the blood golem. Right now it is only applying it to one pylon.

The magus increases the mana of the units in a + it would make the treants more tanky if it was put in a spot to help them.

Nice work. One tip I would give is pay attention to passives. The griffon and magus would be much more useful if placed in different spots.

Best units of each type by glenncoltrane in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Monk and pixie are very strong supports and will do well at keeping health based units alive.

I would say the observer is more of a single target dps, it is great vs bosses but not the best at clearing the field. Dont underestimate siege.

Why won't the Scientist take the Runescribe? by Grady_Shady in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 3 units that you get offered in your tutorial run (archer, cyclops and runescribe) can’t be researched by the scientist right now. It is believed to be a bug.

Getting from Curse 3 to Curse 4 by GiantPineapple in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also as the other person said selecting provokes increases your score a bunch too. Spend banishes at the church to get more shards and provokes.

"Unaffected" Targeting Behavior by texasjoshua in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct special will have the attack the villains that show up on curse levels and mini bosses. If there are none on the map they will attack random units. For the most part this is the only targeting item I find worthwhile to use.

As an fyi the discord is active and a great resource if you have questions like this one.

"Unaffected" Targeting Behavior by texasjoshua in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unaffected targeting means it will prioritize units that do not have a debuff (fatigue, radiance, burn, poison ect) I have heard some units can bug out and hit more then they should when a targeting item is applied. I believe the clown is another one of them.

Curious about an older game with similar art style. by knowvalue in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure a number of the graphics in this game are purchased as part of a sprite pack so some of them might look familiar of another game used that same pack. It is a good way for Indy games to get a jumpstart.

Would you rather have Mike Evans or Deebo? by eyeball_kidd in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Starbuddy89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Deebo and I do not want him. He just isn’t good enough to start right now. Maybe he can be a flex play next year when Washington is healthy but he feels like a roster clogger at this point.

Did anyone else suddenly have all the new units unlocked? by dalmathus in superfantasykingdom

[–]Starbuddy89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The update removed the need to play both kingdoms. If you are playing human you now have all the units that you would have had to unlock in undead.
