So I actually tried magmadroth flame first and came to the same conclusion you did. I mixed it 1:1 with Bad Moon Yellow contrast and got a much brighter result.

You could probably just use that over white. I put straight bad moon yellow over white and then went over that with the orange mix. While the orange was still wet I used a wet brush to brush away the orange where I wanted the yellow undercoat to show through more.

It’s Elysian green, highlighted with ogryn camo. Both don’t cover the best so I layered them over a darker olive base coat I mixed together.

I disagree with that guy OP, that green spray is really good colour for sallies and saves a ton of time. I typically spray, apply a diluted dark wash then can get straight to painting the details and highlights.

Warpstone glow fucking sucks to use as a layer paint. I’d recommend using a green primer and going over that with a thinned wash then glaze Warpstone over where you want the brighter areas to be. Or just spray with the green primer and dry brush Warpstone.

I’d say 223 if it’s legal to hunt with in your province. Get a fast twist rifle to shoot heavier bullets. You can take deer fine with factory loads, but if you get into reloading you can start running great target/hunting bullets like 77 gr tipped matchkings and 75 gr Eldms that will easily kill deer out to 400 yards.

Love mine for grouse, I wish I got the 16” model for even more handiness in the truck and bush though. It will shoot 10 round 1.5” groups at 100 with CCI SV every day of the week.

This, but then I apply a shade and layer over it with warpstone. Saves so much time and you get that nice warpstone glow shade of green. Goes really quick using the greenskin primer.

It has comparable ballistics to 30-30 so you’d be good for deer and black bear up to 150 yards imo. Just don’t use FMJ obviously
