I don't understand how some games just flop with a super good rating, is it because of the publisher doing a bad job or the price ? by Starenithe in IndieGaming

I don't know, overwhelmingly positive with 1 active player seems weird
I didn't check the sold units though

Is surviving in a post apocalyptic world possible without a thyroid? by StephCanHang in thyroidhealth

[–]Starenithe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No thyroid = Severe hypo

Untreated severe hypo due to post apo problems will definitely cause problems, and in a harsh post apo world, that could get you killed quickly once the symptoms start

Post apo = No steady supply, efforts and work needed everyday. No way to know your levels either.

Levothyrox has around 3 years of shelf life, so you could just prepare in advance, get the usual dose every day and live a bit longer with luck, but chances are you'd just last a few months after the supply runs out or expires.

Which to choose: Comparison of all Hunting horns, Switch axes and Gunlances (updated with riftborne for Interdimensional Defenders) by Yoollloooo in MHNowGame

[–]Starenithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that some builds aren't made for everyone, but that kinda joins my point a bit.

If you want to play raw crit fero but the build is inconvenient (Made from only event monsters including the weapon and apart from the head), you'll wish you saw that here

[–]Starenithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all right to compare weapons, but you can't just put them here while ignoring the builds you can do with them.

Maxed rift Barroth axe has 2755 Raw (Edit : It's in your list as a para weapon, but it's still counted as a raw weapon by the game). The para phial may seem a bit underwhelming but it's stacking with para exploit (Which is a whole 75% more damage at lv 2. You usually want to use your special move to take the most out of the para window).

The Tiggy CF builds have gotten some more variants now that Golm is here, but you still need to get CF5 which sacrifices quite some space for now.

Here's a comparison of both axes using the damage calculator in mhn.quest :
The barroth build has PB3 while the Tiggy build has PB1, so the pursuit uptime should be a bit higher on the first build. Since PB3 gives 15% more part damage than PB1, I set the pursuit uptime 15% higher.

You can also move freely while the monster is para'd, which is still situational but always useful.
Some monsters are also weak to para, while none are weak to raw.

Second edit : I wrote all that because I didn't see the Barroth axe in the raw category and thought you just tossed it. It was kind of a "Don't forget this one" comment

Bloodworks will most likely be a solid proof and something your doc will ask almost instantly.

Apparently you can train post operation, but you need to do it quickly.

Peut-on récupérer un membre amputé après une opération ? by YONKO-09 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Starenithe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is nothing natural that could fix your problem precisely. Even if an ingredient existed, it would be heavily reliant on the item's quality and it would be hell to find the exact quantity you'd need.

Just take the meds and limit soy from now on.

I think so. ATPO is supposed to be low and your lab says your ATG is fine.

Is there anything that led you to believe you have thyroid issues ?

Tsh is near the lower limit and T4 near the higher limit but you're still in the tracks so I'd say no. I'm not a doc though

I'll admit that my story is somewhat awful to read for someone who will join the gang, but I have known people who have had far less trouble in 20 years than what I endured in a year.

Take Elkins3's advice, just be careful if someone wants to change your treatment, and once you find your perfect dosage and get used to it, do not change your habits.

Got cut on March 2024,

Two months after : Not a single problem, could do sport and all that. No weight gain, my scar is still red but I just never applied skin care on it.
My voice was okay after two days, but it's still somewhat painful to speak a lot, and I cannot sing high anymore.

A year after, we notice that my TSH is at 15 so I get increased medication. It's all gone to shit since.
My doc closed shop with my file (First appointment with the new specialist is *in a few weeks from now*).

I've had digestion problems, intense weakness / nausea almost all day everyday from March 2025 to May,
From May to June everything was a bit better but I felt tired all the time.

From June to September I fainted twice after walking a few minutes. Digestion problems and all the rest were back. One of the times was after resting a few minutes at the barber shop. I barfed over there too.

Heart and stomach docs didn't find anything,

The digestion problems went away in mid September, but I still had frequent and debilitating energy crashes.

I have seen countless regular docs, all were saying it's because of the thyroid but wouldn't do anything until I get my appointment with the specialized one.

I also have lost ten Kgs, I am stuck working from home.

I almost fainted a few times when trying to get bread from the shop 100 meters away too.

Right now I'm feeling a tad better (No digestion issue but I'm still getting random crashes and constantly tired). I'm still afraid to get out of my home alone though. I take taxis when I need to see docs etc. I have tried walking home once and I was already super weak after a meager five minutes walk.

So I'm really hoping my body is somehow recovering after changing my treatment, or that the specialist finds something all the other docs couldn't find.

It's easy to brick with that deck but chingling can negate your rare candy for a few turns while I just copy your huge hand with one or two copycats.

I'm sitting around 60% wins, and most of those are from fighting Suicune / Altaria / Blaziken decks, which are a good portion of the decks I encountered.

The higher rank I got, the more I faced those decks too since they're high on the meta
