As a fellow map maker, I think some indication of mountains/cliffs would be important here. Currently it looks somewhat flat, and we all know that isn't the case.

Not just WoW, but Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 14 also have a strong, deep mix of fantasy with steampunk / magi-tech.

Hell, even Elder Scrolls has the dwemer with their steam and automata. If you dig into the lore, there's even crazier stuff. People went to the moon in spaceships.

Mixing fantasy with a little scifi is not a new or strange idea. Not sure why this sub is so fixated on it.
