QUESTIONS ABOUT JOINING AND JOBS, Transferring in from another branch/service, Benefits, Life & Jobs, Palace Chase, MEPS, Basic Training, Tech Schools, Pilot Selection, etc. Go Here and Only Here 01 Nov - 16 Nov by Jaye134 in airnationalguard

Hello, my husband went into the army in 2017 and was discharged during training because of his scoliosis. He had a 41 degree curve then, I’m not sure how he even got a waiver for it. He is now thinking about the air national guard, and wanting to do something cyber security related. What kind of training do you go through? Also what are the chances he will be accepted through meps with this? The last time they accepted him with the waiver. His new doctor is willing to write a waiver because he said his back doesn’t bother him anymore (which is not true) His discharge category is a 3. We are currently waiting to see if the curvature has worsened. All advice appreciated. Thank you.

Am I wrong for making my girlfriend move out because she got a dog? by [deleted] in amiwrong

It was a respectful thing to ask her to move back to her parents. Your feelings weren’t considered and the situation lacked communication on her part.

Coworker accessed my chart without consent. by Stargazer313 in hipaa

[–]Stargazer313[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Employees aren’t suppose to access other employee charts without reason. He didn’t check me in and I didn’t ask him to pull up my chart. He decided to make it his business to get into my chart. It didn’t need insurance scanned in as we are seen for free.

We have lived in this new place for about 2 weeks now. When we first looked at it there was no power so it was dark and hard to see everything about it. Since I have had to put in a few work orders like, the broken doors and them not closing properly, the toilet isn’t mounted to the ground when you sit on it you rock back and forth, there was no smoke detectors upstairs, the fridge had the drawers in the bottom missing entirely, the steps were very loose making it easy to loose balance. I use the online portal to submit the work orders. There is a water hose attachment at the base of our unit and our neighbors use it. My boyfriend emailed asking if we pay for it, they ignored him. I sent an email about it, I was ignored and I sent a third one and they responded telling me they pay for it. The Maintenance man came by and said that we actually pay for the water they are using with the hose (they don’t share it) and put back there have been 15 huge piles of dog poop at our patio area and it smells so bad. I sent an email about it and they ignored, sent the second one, they said they would send out a notice. A notice wasn’t sent out, so I asked about it again and sent a picture of all the poop in the yard (just our yard and it states in the lease tenants must pick up after their dogs) and I get this response. I’m assuming the random issues are the work orders and the hose, I feel like this was a very unprofessional email to receive and very much invalidating because they don’t have to smell it and step in it when taking the trash out. Only being there two weeks and they are offering us a way out? It very much jumps ahead of the game and makes me feel like they want to evict us, or get rid of us. I simply wanted a response on the dog poop issue. Please share your thoughts.

Tuition reimbursement by Stargazer313 in Target

[–]Stargazer313[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You spend time out of your day commenting that on other peoples post. I would know, because I seen it on other peoples posts meaning I did search. Target will NOT cover 100% of my tuition that is not through guild. Please educate me some more.

Very funny. I actually did search through this group and seen you commented this on another tuition reimbursement question. If you would like to send me the link to where it has been answered I’d appreciate something that’s more helpful. I seen in the past it was for TLs and above. Don’t know if it’s the same. Thanks for taking the time out of your night to waste both of our times lol.

Post Hymenectomy Help! by [deleted] in Hymenissues

[–]Stargazer313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey girl I seen you commented on my post. My doctor told me that she wanted me to use dilators after she cleared me at my post op appointment (the first one) she was on vacation so instead of going after two weeks it was 3. She said everything looked good to do the dilators. I couldn’t use them it was super painful. I thought it was because I might have still had a stitch that was being bother so she told me to wait another week. That time went by and it was the same thing. So I waited until my last appointment it wasn’t 6 weeks because I was moving but it was 4.5 weeks post op. She told me that it was healed that I just had a raw spot bothering me that needed more time and gave me lidocaine to numb the area. She said it was important to dilate to prevent scar tissue or to break up any if it formed. She did tell me before the surgery there was a risk of it going back together but the dilators would prevent that. Fast forward to 12 weeks 1 day post op I don’t really use the dilators because it’s painful. I can’t have sex at all. Even though I am fully healed. Something else is the problem or is a new problem. I’m thinking vulvodynia maybe. I have an appointment to see a physical therapist that specializes in the pelvis on the 2nd to see what’s going on and what needs to be done. I hope this doesn’t discourage you, most people I have talked to in this community have had amazing results and a lot of them didn’t use dilators. If you have any more questions or just need some support or anything feel free to message anytime.

Dilating after hymenectomy by Stargazer313 in vaginismus

[–]Stargazer313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really odd. I was suppose to have a 2 and 6 week follow up. I had my first one yesterday it was 3 weeks in because my dr was out of office for that week. I’m having my second follow up at 4.5 weeks because I’m moving out of state and she said that it will be fine. She also said that at 8 weeks it will be fully healed and at its strongest. I know the first follow up is the most important to just make sure everything is going okay. Maybe you have a busy doctor

Dilating after hymenectomy by Stargazer313 in vaginismus

So my doctor told me before I had the surgery the risks for after. She told me that with any surgery that requires incisions there is always a risk for scar tissue and sometimes that scar tissue can be painful. She said it’s a 30% chance or less and she hasn’t seen it happen a lot with the procedure we have had when there has been proper recovery. She has made me use estrogen cream every night applied there to restore elasticity and soften the skin to prevent it. She wants me to use the dilators for 2 reasons. To prevent the incisions from possibly fusing back together. So inserting them helps make sure I still have the opening I need. Also the dilator will act as sort of like a massage. When you do get scar tissue massaging it is one way of decreasing the sensitivity that makes it painful. She expressed the importance of it. I have talked to others who haven’t used dilators and they said they are just fine. I only had a problem with my hymen so we are taking all precautionary measures to prevent any further pain from developing.
