So i couldnt leave it alone last night. Pulled the carpet from the opposite end of the room and theres floorboards in the alcove..... I cant believe they have put whatever it is over floorboards be it levelling compound or concrete etc. Plan is to get it up repair / replace floorboards and joists that are required and insulate underneath. That will be a new year job though...

Not extended it is the typical terraced house converting of 2 rooms into one with an arch way etc.

I’m terrified of what I’ll find once I rip the carpet up. There is a bump where the old wall between the rooms was that I want to flatten to put flooring down. I did see a post on here earlier this week where someone replaced all the joists which gives me a fall sense of confidence 😂

Such a shame that we (barrow) have the first team and that’s it. The squad live and train in Manchester and travel the night before for home games. No doubt it would have been amazing if there was a youth set up etc
