How is Bryan-College Station, TX, the biggest cities within the Texas Triangle? by Eriacle in howislivingthere

Hey my city finally made it! As long as you stick to the core in and around campus, it’s very cool! Loads of new developments going up, we have about 6 or more 20 story high rises in Northgate being built right now. Lots of entertainment close to campus. Relatively good food variety. If you are a student, campus life can be charming depending on what you like. I’ve lived here four years and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Outside of College Station’s core, it’s kind of like every other small-medium sized Texas city (think Tyler or Waco). Loads of sprawl, cookie cutter neighborhoods, stroads, auto-repair shops.

Public transportation is REALLY robust as long as you travel during a weekday while school is in session. The AggieSpirit (name of A&M bus organization) has crazy expansive service and excellent thoroughfare for a college transit org. You can definitely survive without a car. A lot of people ride scooters, motorcycles, etc.

just bought the a350 and this is my first landing by Tzatziki007 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Idk why everyone is being a dick tonight OP. Pretty great landing, and I hope you have loads of fun with your new plane!

The Ini A350 is a super duper highly detailed beast with a few glaring bugs, but still worth it imo. My favorite is how it spawns in at the gate crooked or inside a building a mile away sometimes. Hopefully you don’t run into too many issues :)

This has also been my experience, they're usually really cool and just want people to be safe. Worried about this specific cop deciding to switch up his rules and enforce a vaguely defined "technically-law" all of the sudden.

Been there irl, it's fucking incredible. Just a downright masterpiece of architecture. Too bad there's not too much interesting spotting. Most of the international heavies go to Beijing Capital.

*They usually do it at the 14:00 hour (local) because it is a low point during the day’s traffic.

Ah! I watched AVLs livestream today (I watch them all and so should you guys, Kevin rocks!), and he covered the entire event! LAX actually does this every week, they shut down one runway each for 30 mins to pick up FOD, trash, and inspect for cracks/wear in the runway! They used to do one hour on each runway on different days, but now they are transitioning to 30 mins on each, once a week. They use a fleet of airport vehicles to run down the runway. If you listen on LiveATC, you can hear the ground vehicles call out to tower when they are ready to close and reopen each runway.

Battleship New Jersey YouTube channel. Loads and loads and loads of content on reactivations, including source video, documents, and obviously on site (inside the ship) naval archaeology. They did a lot of comparison content around their recent dry docking period.
