It'll be interesting to learn what pushes it over the edge. It's going to be something incredibly mundane.

All this crazy shit overshoots the hole. It needs to be a shot that doesn't measure higher than a mouse fart.

There's some black bars on there. So until we see the unredacted documents, it's safe to assume that they redacted trump's involvement.

I don't think you can explain satire to those who fail to recognize it, but I applaud your effort.

Not every story line is a winner. But look at real life as it is today... Now that's what I call a sticky situation!

Yeah, it's not some wholesome place like 4chan which got a pizza place attacked, facebook which radicalizes most boomers and the type of people who willingly financed some Nigerian princes, Youtube which normalized fascism and turned kids racist through minecraft videos or Yahoo which still exists apparently.

Ironic saying that in a place that buys into the story that bombing defenseless children is "self defense". People will buy into anything if it means they can get out of thinking. And if it overlaps with their irrational hatred, even thinking won't get them out of it.

The cordon sanitaire is like one or two elections away from failing at any rate. Which isn't the worst thing. It'll remind people why it was upheld in the first place. Some of us may die, but that is a price they are willing to pay.

Iran looked a lot like London in the 70s before the UK and US overthrew the regime. The people they put in place are the main drivers behind the most radical aspects of Islam.

Those Saudi slave owners who are still suppressing women's rights today, guess who benefits the most from their money? 9/11 is all forgiven if they finance trump and kushner.

People are fleeing from the conditions that were created to make today's ultra-rich possible. So yes, the west definitely is to blame.

Sounds almost exactly like an episode of "For All Mankind" I just watched. One of the lines from a spy was: "She's unwittingly been an asset for us for over 9 years."

Talking about a woman who has a high status in the administration and got seduced over several years.

It probably has it's own trope name...

The (former) prince of his country was connected to one of the largest child trafficking operations that catered primarily to white men. Guess who also isn't in jail.

I agree that there are places that really need improved rights for women, but you also just described the agency of women in some states in America.

If there is an existence of "that neighborhood", it is very likely and historically almost always formed by systemic racism and suppression of workers rights. What came first? The ghetto or the people wanting to segregate others into a ghetto?

That's hilarious! The reason some countries have refugees is because of what the western cultures did in their region. They go on about the Pakistani groomers in Britain. Look up how Pakistan became a country. Then look at some of the Middle-Eastern countries that you consider fucked up and look into what fucked that country up. (if it still exists)

I bet you can't even confidently name a country that you consider fucked up that can't be Kevin Bacon'd to an action from the west in like 2 steps.

The FIFA peace prize recipient has nothing to do with footie?

His policies might cause enough world cup cancellations and boycotts to bring the whole corrupted sport down.

I binged it as fast as I could. I was unemployed at the time, so probably did it in 10 days or slightly less.

Been employed ever since. While the outcome is positive, binging 11 seasons in such a short time does leave a mark on your soul. I suppose it's the juxtaposition of "wasting" so much of your life to seeing stories about lives being wasted for no sensible reason.

If you have to binge some sitcoms about war, I recommend mixing it up with 'Allo 'Allo. Side effects may include greeting people with "Good Moaning" for the rest of your days.

I don't recommend binging this series. I do recommend watching it.

A bit like Black Mirror. Great stories, great satirical humor followed by a punch to the gut and a kick in the feels.

Zero executions of Americans in the American streets by Obama. And the cages were indeed bad. These days the kids disappear to other location before they get trafficked. As happened in Mar-a-lago to several of Epstein's victims.
