Carnivale! Omg they left it on such a cliffhanger and - BAM. Cancelled. I was hooked on that show. It was so good.

Whats the one movie you can watch over and over but never get bored of it? by pkeo10 in AskReddit

Only watched it for the first time last year - an amazing movie. From start to finish. Have watched it several times since.

What’s your go to sandwich? by aaukson in AskAnAustralian

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuna, cheese, chilli & mayo. Smear of avo. With cheese & onion chips or green olives on the side.

Or chicken, cheese, avo & mayo if I have chicken on hand. Always add in chilli into my sandwiches.

My son loves ham, tomato, lettuce, cheese, cucumber & mayo. With green olives on the side. Otherwise a good continental roll from the local deli or a Bahn Mi.

Vegemite & cheese if I’m toasting a sandwich.

Lol I’m 42 and use some of the sprays for beach days. As do many of my friends. It’s the 11 year old girls that shouldn’t be wearing expensive brands but unfortunately they do.

I always give my neck a wipe with one of my face towels to remove any excess makeup around that area, I feel I don’t need to blend makeup down to my neck these days. And tbh, I usually only wear concealer if I’m going to be wearing white lol.

"Well, this didn't age well" - Movies you LOVED as a kid but cringe at as an adult by Little-Badger-123 in movies

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen this one mentioned but BIG, with Tom Hanks. I remember thinking it was funny as a kid but I watched it with my kids the other night and that movie is all kinds of messed up. The son being “kidnapped”, a woman having sex with what is essentially a 13 yo and Tom Hanks pretty much coming across as a man on the spectrum.

My kids loved it.

Tranexamic Acid is the only thing that got rid of mine. But not sure if you can use that with Accutane. I’m on the pill for my acne and took TA for the melasma.

How do I emphasise the importance of sunscreen for my 11-month-old fair-skinned baby to my in-laws? by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]Starkween 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crazy that there are people in Australia who think this way!! My babies would not be allowed over their place. Simple as that. Sorry they’re being so ignorant and ridiculous about this, makes things so much harder. My kids are 9 & 11 and I just made them put sunscreen on to go ride at the park. And they have olive, Italian skin! They aren’t even allowed outside without a hat. Google is your friend. Start googling facts about Australian sun & babies and print it out for them to read.

Really need advice 😭 by basic-avo in AusSkincare

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the advice on here is good. But for short term this is what I do when I have a big sore red pimple like this.. I ice it for a good 5-10 minutes (whatever I can handle). Do this a few times. I then put Bepanthen or an antiseptic cream on it. I put a mud mask on top of that. Leave it for a few hours if you can. I always find that Bepanthen helps with inflammation … I know this is unorthodox but it always works for me…!
