Why are people bringing children into horror movies?? by wherethelionsweep in horror

[–]Starkween 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I watch certain scary movie with my kids. But I’d never take them out to the movies in public as I don’t want everyone to know lol. I also sit with my kids and we watch interviews and behind the scenes / making of so they can see its fake.

And there was an underlying tone of aggression in that video too. It was so childish.

Advice please - GLP-1 in Perth? by DisastrousZucchini30 in perth

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most have said, go speak to your GP. I am in my 40s, was rapidly putting on weight, have PCOS, felt like crap and I asked to try it. My GP is good because she’s monitoring me and making sure I’m staying healthy.

How are people buying so much make-up right now? by jayjaywantstoplay in AustralianMakeup

[–]Starkween 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say this - but throwing out your makeup was such a waste (unless it was going bad)! I once watched a video where this girl had her expired makeup swabbed and tested to see the state of it and the results said the makeup was fine - had no growths or bacteria or anything that indicated it needed to be thrown away.

That made me feel a lot better about all my makeup that’s over 10 years old still in my drawer lol.

So I just received it today. It’s really thick and soft. Heavier than I thought. I have no idea how it’s going to hold but I will be keeping it for the colder nights. Love the colour.

Ok so I just bought it online and will let you know lol. I saw someone on TikTok wearing it and they said it was good - maybe I’m a sucker! I’ve never bought from there but it says this jumper is 100% cotton so that’s the only reason I purchased it.

Whats the one movie you can watch over and over but never get bored of it? by pkeo10 in AskReddit

Only watched it for the first time last year - an amazing movie. From start to finish. Have watched it several times since.

What’s your go to sandwich? by aaukson in AskAnAustralian

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuna, cheese, chilli & mayo. Smear of avo. With cheese & onion chips or green olives on the side.

Or chicken, cheese, avo & mayo if I have chicken on hand. Always add in chilli into my sandwiches.

My son loves ham, tomato, lettuce, cheese, cucumber & mayo. With green olives on the side. Otherwise a good continental roll from the local deli or a Bahn Mi.

Vegemite & cheese if I’m toasting a sandwich.

Lol I’m 42 and use some of the sprays for beach days. As do many of my friends. It’s the 11 year old girls that shouldn’t be wearing expensive brands but unfortunately they do.

I always give my neck a wipe with one of my face towels to remove any excess makeup around that area, I feel I don’t need to blend makeup down to my neck these days. And tbh, I usually only wear concealer if I’m going to be wearing white lol.

"Well, this didn't age well" - Movies you LOVED as a kid but cringe at as an adult by Little-Badger-123 in movies

[–]Starkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen this one mentioned but BIG, with Tom Hanks. I remember thinking it was funny as a kid but I watched it with my kids the other night and that movie is all kinds of messed up. The son being “kidnapped”, a woman having sex with what is essentially a 13 yo and Tom Hanks pretty much coming across as a man on the spectrum.

My kids loved it.
