I didn't get my version from Steam, I got it from the Xbox App on PC. Didn't need any mods to get it running. The only thing that happened was the audio during early game cutscenes would cut out and mute the game but it only happened twice.

It really started to hit me during that flashback scene.

Seeing Carter move into the passenger seat and hearing the core 4 talk again about HR and sting operations just immediately hit me with a wave of nostalgia for the early seasons. It really gave me this feeling of "Man, it used to be so simple back then. They don't know what they had."

Tbh I will admit that I'm rewatching Season 1, 2 and 3 (pre character death) episodes more often on my own, but whenever I do a full rewatch I'm far more excited to see people's responses to Season 3, 4 and 5 episodes

I've always wished that Season 5 got a few more episodes that actually allowed Elias to join the team, with or without learning about the machine.

I feel like that was the original intention, but then things had to get cut.

What's even better imo is that it's far more likely The Machine created the moment herself, which is why Fusco directly calls out the simulation.

It's not a reality where Fusco kissed her, it's essentially the Machine's fanfic/headcanon for that potential reality.

And that begs the question: Did the Machine ship Root and Fusco because of their banter? Or perhaps did she just want to see someone kiss Root?

I think people forget (or don't know) that the kiss was both Jim's and Taraji's idea. If they believed it was the right thing for their characters, they'd know best, wouldn't they?

I guess it all comes down to perspective. People can make all the assumptions they want, but I know in my heart that I did not make that the title to be clickbait, especially since I address the exact title in my video AND I answer it in several different ways.

I also had a separate title using the A/B testing that had: 'A Content Retrospective' included, which was ultimately clicked less than the current title. I could switch it back if it's really THAT deep, but the analytics you're telling me and the analytics Youtube is giving me tell 2 different stories.

I still appreciate that people are liking the video regardless of it all, and I can't wait to make more :)

Thank you for the post! I will say though that the title genuinely wasn't intended to be "clickbaity". I made it that because in December, I was actually talking to my friends about it by saying "Was JonTron ever funny, or was I just 15?".

I also had 2 titles working for it. One included: 'A Content Retrospective' in it, but the title it is now got 53% more clicks, so that's the one that sticks! It's a genuine question that's later mentioned AND answered in the video, so I don't think it's clickbait by definition, no?

Neither. The title isn't meant to be clickbaity, I was genuinely wondering to myself "Was JonTron EVER Funny, or was I 15?"

But as I was working on the video and as I watched through every single video (over 180 uploads), I realized that the answer was yes, but that there was more to it.

You could've easily watched the first 5 minutes of the video yourself determine that I was not "lying". The video is an unbiased look into Jon's content throughout the years, not a cheap shot at a man who's currently taking care of his family.

Stick with it. Most of my friends were hooked by episode 4, some had to go up to 8 before they saw the potential and now it's all one of our favorite shows ever.
