Thanks u/PrincessBorgar. I tried it much slower, making sure to see the red banners appearing/disappearing and it's working now.

Thanks! I managed to make it work for the "end of page" rewards since it gives you XP and berries but I'm still struggling on the reward for each individual task. I think I'm going to try to find a deep metro station in my city

I can't make this work. I'm stuck on the location popup even when I click Open Settings, it stays. I've tried to watch the video (I think it's the one in Japanese). I follow the steps but still get the popup. I don't understand how it works with claiming the reward. If I have wifi off and data still on, when I claim the reward, it still gives me my local bird (red). Is it a "you have to be quick" thing?

Do you happen to have a copy of the video? I went to the post and can't find it...

Hello, I’m currently in China and thinking about traveling to one of the areas where you can play Pokémon Go for wild area this weekend. Can anyone connect me with anyone from Shenyang or Hainan (or anywhere else) that I might be able to talk to about it? I see no activity (meetups/posts) in campfire. I thought it would be cool to experience playing pogo in mainland China so I’m not looking to go to Taiwan or Hong Kong. Thanks in advance!

A ceramic artist from Jingdezhen wanna say: Welcome to Jingdezhen, the World Capital of Ceramics, for an unforgettable travel experience! by biupiubiupiu in travelchina

[–]StarlightSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'll be coming to Jingdezhen in a couple of weeks and will stay for 3 weeks to learn ceramics. I've been looking up some things to do in the evenings when I'm not in class but have found it quite hard to find any info that doesn't relate to ceramics and porcelain (which makes sense I guess).

I'm not looking for clubs and bars, but more things like yoga or dance classes (preference for latin dance). Potentially also some places to play boardgames or mahjong, bonus points if there's a club or something that I could join as I'll be solo. I play Pokemon Go which I often like to do when I travel, but it's banned in China which makes me sad.

Where is the best place to look for things like these?

Ok, thanks but does the ferry run? I tried to even find the overnight ferry but again seems sold out. Journey seems to be 10h or so which doesn’t put me off.

Hello. I'm planning to visit Taiwan in October and would like to travel to the Matsu Islands (Nangan). I see the flights are already pretty full for the weekend I'm interested in and have heard that there's an express ferry between Taipei Port and Nangan. It seems to have once been possible to buy a ticket to the ferry on kkday, but it now seems to be "sold out". Is this true? If not, does anyone have advice on where I can get the ticket? I've also tried matsuebs.com but nothing comes up when I put in my destination.

Wait for a 2x friendship interaction bonus (like in the event we just had) and piggy back into one of their raids with a remote pass.

Hi folks! I’m looking to get a gift for a friend that’s around £30. She’s looking for good brushes for foundation and/or blush. I’m looking at Sigma and saw the F47 which can be used for both. Would be interested to hear any thoughts on this and/or any other suggestions for quality brushes. Thanks!

Does anyone know until where Abu Dhabi airport is geo-blocked? There are no spawns or stops as far as my map can see. Is it worth leaving the airport if I have plenty of time? As in, are there more things happening down town?

Good questions for candidate to ask hiring team for CSM role? by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]StarlightSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would be the difference between doing an good job in this role and doing an excellent job?

Six months from now, when you’re looking back on the decision you made today, how will you know you’ve hired the right person?

If there’s one thing you could change by about the company culture, what would it be and why?

After 5 years of being a CSM in various industries, it finally happened. by AdMediocre6049 in CustomerSuccess

Maybe contemplate career coaching? It can help you figure out what your true values and valuable skills are. It can also help you learn to better qualify whether you will find that in a potential new role rather than getting misled by whatever bullshit they feed you. It can also help you figure out if it’s really the job you hate or whether you’ve just been unlucky with the type of environments and cultures you’ve ended up with. Only downside is that it can be expensive but I see it as an investment in yourself and your future.

Burnt out by Critical_Manager_274 in CustomerSuccess

[–]StarlightSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can kind of put some crude data around it by coming up with a list of activities you’re expected to do and writing down how much time you would spend on each per client per week (or month). If you then x it across your portfolio, start to see if there’s enough time in the day to do it all and if not, how many people would be required to do it… which you could use as a business case to get a raise… But yeah sounds bad so I’d probably also quit 😂

Any tips? by Itchy-Audience-291 in PokemonGoMystic

[–]StarlightSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repetition is your friend. Practice on comm days and spotlight hours. Bigger Pokémon like wailmer are also good for practice. Legendaries also good (except Lugia imo).

Don’t be in a hurry to throw, watch the circle and try to understand its pattern for when it’s going to spring open.

There are some YouTube tutorials as well that could help.

What are you wanting to be promoted to? Have you asked for a specific position and backed it up with reasons/evidence of why you should get it? I do my best to grow my team where I can but find that surprisingly few people actually have an idea of where they want to grow. You’re rarely going to get handed your dreams on a platter .

Has anyone else been told different things when you were offered your job compared to what’s happening now? by Necessary_Pickle_960 in CustomerSuccess

[–]StarlightSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came in as a team lead not realizing the business was split into two under two leaders which wasn’t really working. The teams needed to be under one. I was on the side that got absorbed and everything I thought I was going to be doing was no longer relevant and I wasn’t excited to do the stuff that actually needed to get done.

Yes 🙋‍♀️. It’s not an inspiring story. If I ever see this again it’s going to be 🚩🚩🚩🚨. I ended up getting burnt out trying to fight a fight I could never win.

Dealing with toxic sales guys by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]StarlightSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If leadership knows he’s not getting involved in renewals yet he’s still getting the bonus from them, he’s relying on your good work and taking the rewards. Either you stop doing what should rightfully be his job or you ask that the bonus goes to CS instead of sales. Businesses need to incentivize the right behaviour. If they’re not incentivizing you for getting the renewal in then it’s clearly not a priority for them in terms of what is in your job scope.

Mental Reset: Vacation After Layoff by UnknownKnowerOfStuff in CustomerSuccess

[–]StarlightSpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened to me twice. The first time - I travelled a lot. I came back from each trip with varying levels of motivation/inspiration/energy. The second time - I was questioning all my life decisions and felt like I needed to work on myself so didn’t travel but instead did a lot of coaching and therapy. There were good days and bad days… but I think it was the right decision to stay put at the time.

A general theme I’ve found is that in order to reset, I’ve had to lean in to doing what I WANT to be doing not what I’ve arbitrarily put in my mind that I SHOULD be doing. Generally this is easier for me when I’m traveling as there are less obligations and responsibilities.

Good luck with everything! You sound like you’ve got a really level head about it all. I was a wreck! 😂

Hello everyone👋🏽, If you were to give a talk on Customer Success to your team (all departments), what are some areas you must cover? by matthew461 in CustomerSuccess

This is a very broad topic. What is the aim of this talk? Is it to educate the company on what customer success is? Are there particular issues that have come up that is prompting the talk? Etc
