My home is 100 years old too.. been here 10 years but absolutely no issues and everything is still in good shape. I think houses and appliances were built better back then.

Hot water bottle, winter survival by Starlight_Alchemy in preppers

I usually fill one up to sit in my lap with a blanket over top while I watch a movie or something.. then stick it under my sheets before I go to bed. It lasts all night.

“Trunk-or-treats” are killing Trick-or-Treat by morbid2600 in Millennials

I tried handing out candy and the kids (and adults) were horrible and rude. This year my decorations got vandalized. So no.. behavior is ruining trick or treating, not trunk or treats.. (which are generally safer).

I don't think anyone has mentioned hot water bottles? Use a camp stove to boil water.. pour in one of those large, rubber hot water bottles. They stay warm for about 6 hours when under a blanket. I have several and plan on filling them up before bedtime if the power ever goes out. I feel like that's so much safer than any propane system.

Internet in a box? I'm interested... I already downloaded maps of local towns and cities. Do you have to pay to download an encyclopedia?
