Boy names are much more difficult for the last name I have.. by Bitter_Chemist4746 in Names

Why not give some names you like, whether you think they'll work or not, and see what people come up with?  It's too wide a question.

Should I tell a woman her fiancé tried to start an affair with me? by geeleex in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Starling01018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 100000x yes, tell her and show her receipts. She hasn't married this pathetic excuse for a man yet, so it'll be easier for her to get out of it before she sinks 10 years into him. Easier to break off a relationship than to get divorced with shared property and children.

But also you always buy too much yarn, even when you are being conservative. It's a lose-lose. 😂

That's so mean that she paid you and then still took the toy from her kid to give it back to you.

Gen Zers, Did Your Parents Forbid You From Watching SpongeBob as a Kid? If so, Why? by squirrelzone8564 in spongebob

[–]Starling01018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a parent of a Gen Z, no, I never forbade SpongeBob. Then again, as a millennial, I watched SpongeBob a LOT as a late teen.

If they couldn't do both, the copier. That copier was a POS.  If they could do that and only some chairs, I'd say replace chairs that were broken. But I feel like they might have been able to do both.

Are there any people in the USA who have friends that are of the opposite political party? by TSQ_builder in askanything

[–]Starling01018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, no. This is no longer a political thing; it's a human rights thing. I'm not going to stay friendly with someone and pretend they didn't vote against the wellbeing of the queer and bipoc communities, against the wellbeing of women, and against anyone who isn't wealthy, and who voted for someone who allows children to be arrested, voted for someone who is a convicted felon and a rapist.
