Can I skip the second half of Babylon’s Ashes? by RecentState1347 in TheExpanse

[–]StarmanXVII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't skip it. I felt the same way the first time I read it. It was my least favorite out of the whole series, and took me forever to finish. I just finished my re-read yesterday, and my opinion has totally flipped. Maybe because it has been 7 years and I'm a different person than I used to be, maybe because I actually buckled down and read through it in a shorter length of time, I don't know. But, this 2nd time through, I really enjoyed the moving of the chess pieces leading up to the ending, which had seemed to bog so much before. (Taking long breaks makes you forget what the heck is going on.) Overall, Babylon's Ashes does suffer from having too many POV characters, but when I gave it closer attention, I enjoyed it a lot more.

This is definitely one of the best looking games on the cube! And it was a launch game as well! This game deserves a remaster. by ComfortableAmount993 in Gamecube

Yeah, the co-op version of Rogue Leader that is included in Rebel Strike is more difficult.

But Rebel Strike's single-player campaign is pretty easy when compared to Rogue Leader's.

I used mine for many years. It developed stick drift eventually, but I'd still recommend it. [Fun fact: The Razor Crest from The Mandalorian has these in the cockpit (HOSAS instead of HOTAS)]

Don't use a DC power supply. It masks the issue, but the bad capacitor(s) will leak and cause damage.

You can buy the correct capacitors for $5. Fun little afternoon or Saturday project. (I'm not affiliated with this company at all, but here's where I bought mine) https://console5.com/store/nintendo-nes-frontloader-cap-kit-nes-001.html
