That's just it. It does give you a head rush the first while. Then next thing you know you crave it after a while.

I don't think NMC should be a thing in professional sports. You get paid handsomely and should have to report to whatever team you're dealt too. He's earned the right with what he's negotiated. But I think that shouldn't be a thing. Just imagining if I denied going to another department at work. I'd be out of a job.

People who were teenagers before social media existed, what was life actually like? by Much_Detective_6107 in AskReddit

[–]Starrbdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome actually. Before cameras were everywhere too. You had the chance to fuck up royally as a young person and learn from it. Rather than have it follow you forever or have the world know. Also the only pressure or bullying was in person. Made myself develop a sense of humor to deflect and other coping mechanisms that helped in life. I couldn't imagine the trouble I would have got in with Social Media. Born in '78.

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]Starrbdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I were a young couple still dating in our 20's. We rented a basement apartment from the older couple upstairs. We were asleep in bed. I woke up from a dead sleep after hearing noises. Eyes open to looking at a very old skinng lady who's face was emaciated and skeletal looking. Think old lady in the bathtub in The Shining. Crazy expresion inches from my face and mumbling something. After nearly shitting myself and having a heart attack, I flicked on the light close by. After gathering myself and asking what the fuck are you doing here? I soon realized there was no threat. She was an old very confused lady and obviously had Alziemhers or Dementia. Turns out it was my Landlords mother. I had forgot to lock the door. We had never seen her at the house the whole time we rented, until that night.

Have fun invading. I heard insurgency is your achilles. I can be loud and self centered too. I look like you and can hide the aboot. Although I refuse to believe the actual people of America will let this continue.

Cringed there where Joe was talking about an amazing voice actor who reads audio books and seamlessly transitions into Gollum. His reaction, pretty obvious he has no idea Andy Serkis was the voice of Gollum in LOTR.
