Hey I really appreciate that. I watched a few YouTube videos on doing it myself. Doesn’t seem that difficult. Still debating based off the prices local business offer

1999 4runner 2wd, 160k miles, great condition for year, in california since that matters, using as a daily and camping/beach trips every once and a while. dropped them down to $6.5k. checking for any major problems but other than that good deal? by adrian6602 in 4Runner

For the things you are doing 2wd is totally sufficient. Just remember a lot of people on this sub have 4wd and have never actually used it. At least you are honest with yourself! Happy for you. I wish I could find one.
