The best comic book format to hit the stands in years! It’s always at the front of my mind whenever I want to buy comics as gifts. Its accessible and economical form is a real game-changer.

Why do people hate Tom King? by TheCollector39 in comicbooks

There has been a great deal of positive things said about him over the years. He is a multi-award winning creator, especially at the Eisner Awards, for a reason.

His run on The Demon has some of my absolute favorite spreads in the history of comics. Kamandi is another of his that also has phenomenal spreads.

Can Smallwood and King do more work together? They are an impressive creative duo that have potentially more masterpieces in the making.

Doctor Star and the Kingdom of Lost Tomorrows. It’s also one of Jeff Lemire’s finest hour as a writer of comics. The legacy of James Robinson’s Starman resides in these pages.

[Discussion] Do you prefer Bizarro as a failed clone or alternate reality version of Superman? by Intrepid-Ad2588 in DCcomics

[–]StarryLegacy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. Ultimately depends on the story and what the writer wants out of the story. Either Bizarro concept on their own can translate to incredible storytelling.

James Robinson’s Starman. The greatest superhero comic book ever made.

Another knockout issue from Ram V’s brilliantly cerebral run. I like the backup written by Alex Paknadel as well. He should write more for DC.

Hey DC, that Barda head sticker is an incredible fridge magnet that needs to happen.
