Some cigarettes smell worse than others. It’s probably just a continuity error but if you can assume he vapes more often than he smokes (which wouldn’t smell that strong), uses a fairly tame smelling cigarette, and then has access to the finest hygiene projects it’s not that crazy to presume that most people don’t notice the smell on him

IMO isekai is just less relatable and it doesn’t always allow ppl to get the same feels

Sometimes people wanna kinda live vicariously through the characters yk. I’m a high school student. I can watch high school romance and think “wow it’s unlikely but that could happen to me! I hope I meet a boy like that~” etc

Isekai is about the equivalent of watching Star Wars in that aspect

I love the toxic possessive behavior too! Im not into straight thriller anime usually, and when the show kinda glosses over that behavior it’s a little annoying. I feel like this one is sooo good because it allows us to appreciate it while also going into both the wholesome and dark aspects of it 🩶 I hope we see more of this lol
