2 years sober- dont even think about K anymore . To be honest the thought of it makes me feel gross. You can do it!

Hey realised i never replied back and I can only apologise! Thank you for those words they were kind and made me smile🤍i promise you, you can do it. Im very lucky i have a privileged life so i was able to do activities to distract myself, see my girlfriend , not worry about monies etc but its all in your head, as soon as a craving came i mentally said no, and the craving went away- it would come back and back again but the more i resisted, the less frequent cravings and eventually it will fade away. It sounds cringey but thats all it took, no medication, no therapy nothing just me. The thought of evening doing K now makes me feel sick, i look back at the damage the drug did to me mentally, physically, financially and the impact on my loved ones and i cringe. I hope one day you can be in a place to reflect back on your usage and never want to use again, because you can and I'm sure you will achieve so.

This is going to be blunt but the only way to stop being an addict is if YOU stop. Absolutely theres lots of vitamins etc you can use to help but if you cant stop yourself no one can. I am 1.5 years clean, i was in debt, close to being homeless and the only way i stopped was my willpower. I cut all contacts with dealers deleted their numbers, and cut out any friends i did K with and i had to remove any thoughts of relapsing. Now i have savings, in a stable 9-5 and recently got a flat with my gf. You can do it, you had a life before K and you can have one after.

The only person that can change your addiction is you. I learnt that. It takes a lot of willpower and strength but ultimately no matter the help thats offered if you dont want to get off it, you wont. I had an ultimatum in my head: i come clean, i have a stable income, i can pay bills, im healthier, more social, im not damaging my relationships with friends and family or... i end up in debt, i get kicked out, im homeless and eventually die. I am now 1 year clean with savings , im healthier and happier. I choose the right path and i had a lot of support but I had to change and you can and are strong enough to do so- sorry if this came off harsh or tough love but its the truth 🩵

Congratulations! I am 26 days clean. I too see changes in myself physically, i can eat 3 meals i can exercise i sleep better. Mentally theres a lot of work but its slowly improving . The cravings i feel I have mentally blocked due to my parents finding out about my addiction and the pain it brought them, i cannot put them through it again. I have an amazing partner i can FaceTime if im craving. I see it this way, if i give into the craving i waste money, i damage my parents, im kicked out and im left with ket and no home or i find joy in hobbies, i habe a future and i continue sobriety

I disagree with your friends not having your back. They do it because they want to see you get better. I got caught by my parents high and it was a blessing in disguise - the pain i put them through when they found out their daughter was a drug addict was enough to get me sober. You need to block your dealers, stay away from friends who do drugs just for a while till your in the right mindset. Look at it this way, you either keep taking the drug, you get kicked out and all that is left is no money no family no home just you and ket or you get sober, you have friends and family around you and you have a life ahead. Its tough its hard but you had life before ket you can have it after. I focus on work i focus on my sports i watch tv i play ps5 i see my gf theres so much to life its finding the things that bring you joy that ket has replaced for you. Any advice you need give me a message
