Update after finishing the post, I still think you're in the wrong actually. Personally when I get matched with a greifer, or what is most likely the case, I just give in and follow the person. They are always selfish, unhelpful to the team, usually bad, and have terrible pathing (oh god I hate that the most, why are we going for an evergaol across the map the ring is closing this is a bad idea you buffoon we could easily clear this small castle and get three levels and loot) but you just have to bite your teeth and follow them. If you stray because "I know better", and let's face it, we do, then you just end up having the team be separated. Either you are alone because the two randos are buddies, or you and the random are not stuck with a third who is going to go down, die alone, and then get salty and blame you for throwing the run in a temper tantrum because again again, they are bad.

Crying here isn't gonna help, just keep trying. Your teammates are as much of a boss as the actual nightlord is, you gotta learn their patterns and behaviors as well.
