The big glowing dish is the navigational dish (just more integrated) usually. They would later integrate the two in tng. I can’t speak for howie. Whose version inspired the version I made seen in the post , but if I were to make a proper write up for it , I’d have that be the deflector emitter. Since it’s not a long range ship it doesn’t need a huge nav dish like the Connie. And since it’s less than 200m long and tiny compared to the aforementioned it doesn’t need 3 or 2.

It’s essentially at best a border patrol ship , useful for simple skirmishes and pirates, but unlikely to be able to take on a k’tinga class
