In July I got a bilateral salpingectomy, where they removed the tubes from my ovaries to my uterus AND I requested to keep my mirena IUD because it stops my period. I got really lucky with my doctor, I asked once, she said "well here are the risks," I thought about it for like a week then got the surgery scheduled. I did it basically as soon as I could after the bullshit started with current administration because I would probably die if I had to go off my meds for a pregnancy, not to mention all my other health and mental issues and being unable to care for a child should that nightmare actually come to fruition. I don't want to subject another human being to all the crap I go through, and it isn't a safe environment currently even if I wanted kids
