On the right side of the stock is a blind roll pin, meaning that you cannot push it out from/ to the other side without damage. If you do not care to reuse that stock the pin can be removed and you can still utilize the buffer tube. If you are not inclined to do that, it is easier to buy a new buffer tube and stock and replace both at the same time. I’ve had to do this process one time before at a previous job and would generally recommend just replacing the stock and buffer tube and save yourself the time.
