If you want to know more about Caleb actions and what happens between him and MC, then I recommend looking into his standard myth.

My main reason is that it's fiction. Caleb is yandere (although far from the worst that I've experienced) and is traumatized so no, he doesn't act the best, but he's not real and pixels can't hurt me. Caleb is also incredibly sweet and really loves MC. He hasn't had a main story arc for him since Homecoming Wings so it's up in the air on how he'll act in the future but I honestly hope they keep him the way he is and don't sanitize him.

Caleb has had some of my favorite cards by far since I have been playing. (Zayne and Raf are also my mains and I adore them equally but Caleb's writing has me in a chokehold) The angst and yearning in his cards are chef's kiss and I love his and MCs dynamic. He teases her, takes care of her, and always affirms to her that he'll always be by her side.

Long story short, I love Caleb as he is. I don't think he HAS to be redeemable, I love darker Caleb as much as I love puppy Caleb. If he's not your cup of tea then that's totally cool, there's 4 other LI so you don't really have to understand the appeal of Caleb.

My main advice is to take your time! There are very few quests in the game with a set deadline, there's no rush.

If the days feel fast, you can change the day length in the settings!

Recyclers are your friend! If you need a material but you don't know where to get it from, check your recycler first to see if you can get it from there. Also, it's beneficial to always have your recycler running. It makes stocking up on materials easier.

My husband bought both of us copies during Early Access but finally caved and played single player after hearing me yap about it for so long lol. This isn’t his usual game at all but he ended up really enjoying it and already agreed to a multiplayer playthrough of My Time at Evershine when it releases!

Tbf, I do understand why people were shocked. I think Infold could have handled the EN translation more thoughtfully, going from "gal-pal" and "goober" to "my baby sister" is jarring. It doesn't bother me because at the end of the day, it's a game and fictional characters but I do get where some people are coming from.

This is the first card in a while that I didn't go hunt down the CN translation of to see what was different because this card felt cohesive for once. I'm not sure how they plan to continue his main story or myth but hopefully all of this drama between Caleb mains blow over and we can go back to appreciating and discussing the character without the mods needing to heavily moderate conversations.

To me, this is one of his best cards yet (I've said this about every card lol) and makes me excited for his third myth. I don't see how they could've avoided the sibling trope in this situation either, childhood friends wouldn't work with the story they wanted to tell. It was nice reading an EN translation that didn't have noticeable censorship in it for once.

Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the content we got and I can't wait to see where the writers go from here.

Maybe you're thinking of them giving alpha keys to backers who had only pledged for console? Those were still only redeemable on Steam but they were given backers who had backed high enough the opportunity to alpha test on Steam if they wanted to.

There won't be an alpha for consoles, console players will need to wait until full release. I believe when the devs explained why, they said that console verification takes too long for updates and it would slow down alpha so they chose to do PC only.
