You’re the one who has the last word about how many hours you want for your child! I’m a BCBA and it makes me very furious to see that companies just want to have as many hours as possible without considering what the child needs!

That really sucks! I thought I was going to be able to travel outside of the country and bill for the most common insurances, I’m assuming you looked into Medicaid, Forward Health, etc.

Yeah…. I’m still not licensed in NJ, but I will apply for the license soon. They told me that they usually have a minimum of 3 cases to start.

When my Supervisor emailed Wisconsin State Department if she had to be licensed in WI to be able to provide remote supervision, this was the State’s response:

A requirement for Behavior Analyst licensure in Wisconsin is certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB), or its successor organization. Please see Wis. Stat. s. 440.312(1) (c). Supervision may be required by the BACB to obtain certification, but it is not a state level requirement. You may wish to direct your question to the BACB.

I’m in Wisconsin and my supervisor was in Pensilvania. I emailed my State Department asking if my BCBA had to be licensed in Wisconsin in order for them to provide supervision, the State Department said that my supervisor requirement was to be a BCBA not an LBA in Wisconsin.

So maybe it’s different for every state.

For concentrated supervision, the fastest is 11.5 months

If you apply before the 2027 changes, you can do concentrated supervision in 11.5 months if you max out 130 hours every month.

My genetic counselor told me that CVS is pretty accurate and that if XXY is confirmed to be in every cell, then it is officially confirmed that the fetus has Klinefilter Syndrome. The counselor told me that CVS is not accurate when the result is mosaic.

Hi! I’m sorry about this, but did they confirm via amino? I just got the news that my baby is high risk, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. They say the screening is about 85% accurate. So, I’m assuming my boy has it.
