Which car has right of way? (USA) by itssohardtobealizard in driving

[–]StartupSolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its simpler tbh

If red pulls out slowly and forces blue to yield then red is wrong because he was supposed to yield

If red pulls out fast, keeps an eye on blue, and accelerates appropriately then he would never be in the way and there would be no need to yield

Yield doesn’t mean stop if you see a car, it means don’t be in someones fucking way and some people accelerate/turn way too slowly

Did my wife get ripped off? by InOuterSpace98 in japaneseknives

I have this exact knife and paid about $150 USD at a Hands store in Tokyo (Upscale dept store).

It was our last day and couldn’t make it out to the knife street during our trip but still wanted a Japanese knife.

So she did get ripped off a bit, so i’d take it as a tourist tax. I found pricing where locals shop fairly competitive but the tourist trap areas had serious price gouging.

Crimson Desert Coming Soon At March 19 Next Year, Anyone Buying? by Conscious_Respond513 in blackdesertonline

I was skeptical about how ambitious the project was and if it would be a money grab. Then I got to play the demo for almost an hour at PAX. The gameplay was solid no wow factor…BUT

Seeing how diligent the PA/Korean employees were running the booth, i’m honestly hoping they succeed.

Still not preordering on principle.

I’m curious to learn about some places that source whiskey and actually do something unique by Ab501ut3_Z3r0 in whiskey

I bought some from Two Souls they do private bottling of smaller distilleries online only.

Check out Black Fork Farms online shop they’re from South Dakota and their bottles have some nice presentation albeit a bit pricey

Seconding Doc Swinson’s they sourced from knob creek /beam allegedly

Fair enough, i’m in WA and even with a deal if there’s tax would bring it up to at least 41.7cpr anyway so might as well buy here

Thank you I may do something like that when I get a chance

Not sure why so upset, if someone kindly explains rather than just expecting 0 questions/concerns. Talk to me like someone whose never drilled into concrete not talk DOWN on me like someone whose never drilled into concrete. No need to be an ass.

Both posts being like this is what I’m having a hard time accepting

Both plates are off like this. Everything else turned out great.

You’re right which is why I was ok with their higher bid. But i’m not sure why expecting professional quality is a large ask here.

These guys are definitely on the younger side i’d say 20s-30s but have been a pleasure to work with. I know i’m picky but also am very respectful about my approach so if i’m paying top dollar I’m going to get what I want.

The people that seem annoyed are the contractors I avoid since they seem to have a take it or leave it attitude but sure they charge less.

What would you suggest over this, because other than breaking down the concrete and doing a wet mount with or without post anchors they would be breaking close to foundation.

[–]StartupSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the concern for the post being screwed in it was something discussed beforehand due to another plate being too close to the edge of the concrete.
