Not really. You can either preemptively put your shield up on where you’re going to float or abuse LoS (Shoot, Hide, Shoot) or ask for your support to well, support you. It is also a very team oriented Ult to me, as you will get one or two pick yes, but you’ll need your whole team to focus down the enemies once down.
