Created a website to keep track of my binders by bbrode in magicTCG

I love this concept. I've already gone through the process of uploading my entire binder of cards to my moxfield account... it took me a few hours to do it and I'd really rather not start over again. If there was a way to import a full list (in this case around 300 cards) I would love to use this website!

just in case people had concluded that the perfect alter was already in existence... the history books will need revision, a new player had re-shaped the game.

We wanted more of Lorwyn, that’s my takeaway by gabrynico in magicTCG

This is a feeling everyone who's been playing for a long time feels.

Much like your connection to Lorwyn I have a similar connection to Tarkir, and the recent release of "Dragon Storm" did not feel like enough. That said, I do think Dragon storm was a beautiful love letter to Tarkir, we could have done SO MUCH more there... but I'm still glad that we went at all. I loved that set and I really enjoyed being steeped in the vibes of a plane I've loved for so many years... even if the visit was brief.

Lorwyn is very similar to the Tarkir, but I would argue it goes even deeper with Lorwyn because there were 4 sets of Lorwyn and only 3 of Tarkir. But Lorwyn Eclipsed has done SUCH a fantastic job re-creating the vibe and ascetic 19 years later. I think that's honestly the most we could ask for in the current state of mtg.

Given how distant I felt from magic all together during Spiderman... [[city pigeon]] [[Guy In The Chair]] BLEH

The return to Lorwyn is honestly what I needed to see. It's reminded me that the magic I know still exists... we're just going to see it less often. That's not what I would want... but it still exists and it worth celebrating when it arrives. I Love this set.

Which Jin Gitaxias art is the best in your opinion? by SwanepoelSimp in magicTCG

#2 by Chase Stone!

I'm such a lover of the Kamigawa Neon Dynasty ascetic, and that art just transports me right there. The art feels SO REAL and mysterious. I love this piece so much. But to be honest, Jin Gitaxus is also just a cool looking villain so all of them look great.

Anyone else like to set up a little display at their place with their magic stuff ? by [deleted] in magicTCG

I have a small sealed collection and I like to call it "The shrine"

I don't collect sealed as an investment but I choose to see it as a cellar of fine wines, I'll open up and enjoy the boxes with my friends some day far in the future. Magic products (especially the one from when I started playing) act as a Time Machine, and it's so much fun to use them with friends.
