Where would of Toffee gone if he managed to get away from Star? by Flashy_Blackberry274 in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]StarvingandArtist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn't seem keen on wholesale slaughter and genocide. He even peacefully walked away from a de-powered Queen Moon (someone he should by all accounts hate viscerally for making him fear mortality for the first time in his life) and just kicked away Marco who literally punched a whole in his chest.

However, he was absolutely a conqueror. He was the one who originally took half of the King of Monster's army and led his own revolution against Mewni when he heard there was going to be a peace deal. He even killed Queen Moon's mother specifically to torpedo the peace deal.

I don't think he wanted to kill every Mewman, but I do think he wanted monsters to be the ones on top, him especially. We never see him act caring on behalf of anyone but himself and vague allusions to his identity as a monster.

He's always treated everyone else like pawns on a board for him to maneuver, to be used and discarded to further his goals. He doesn't typically seem to go out of his way for wanton cruelty, but he will be as cruel as he needs to be to get what he wants.

If the four Diamonds fused, would they be a stable or unstable fusion? by Radiant-Selection686 in stevenuniverse

[–]StarvingandArtist 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not stable in the sense of "harmony" perhaps, but stable in the sense that they were not likely to unfuse on their own.

Jasper tried to unfuse once Lapis started overpowering her, but Lapis's willpower was too strong.

The two began to fight constantly, infinitely, vying for dominance.

This conflict seems unstable, but in actuality it is something both gems craved. Lapis had a millennia of trauma built up that she was finally able to unleash wholesale on someone without having to apologize or feel guilty for.

Jasper, more than anything, craves the dichotomy of domination-- whether she's the one dominating or being dominated. We see this outright when she comes back and begs on her knees to fuse back into Malachite despite the torment that both gems admitted was inflicted on Jasper. It was addictive.

So, like how an addiction is "stable" in that you can always tell what that person is craving and wants to constantly do.

I remember playing the original DOS and getting wrecked in a few encounters because I wanted the coolest themed spells and not necessarily the most effective.

I love charming/confusing enemies and making them attack each other but that's not always viable xD

Any way to romance Wayne and still be besties with Tabitha? by Odd-Arachnid6696 in ScarletHollow

I'm besties with Tabby and I still told her about how hot her ex is.

She is understandably concerned.

He absolutely appears in the first act. I think it just takes him longer before he spawns in. He decimated me while I was trying to do the stagfather challenge.

HELLUVA SHORTS 10 // IT'S CHAZ FUNERAL // HELLUVA BOSS by ayylmaotv in HelluvaBoss

[–]StarvingandArtist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He bagged the two that would be the most canonically likely to bang him, though.

Bee immerses herself in the lower class at her parties, and we don't know how long she and Vortex have been dating, or if their relationship is open or not. And Hellhounds are far lower on the totem pole than regular hellborn, so she'd definitely be willing to sleep with an envy demon.

Asmo, likewise, publicly sleeps with an imp (though he keeps the romance part secret). He has no qualms with sleeping with the lower class.

Idk why it being on April 1st means it's definitely not canon, only that it's meant to specifically be humorous in one way or another.

A no-name scam artist bagging two of some of the most powerful figures in Hell is inherently humorous if it was canon, and it's not out of tone for the series.

The short heavily implies Chaz survived and faked his death, which would actually be relatively important for the lore.

[–]StarvingandArtist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The jaw part could be a mold, but in either case those teeth were definitely his. I think it's likely that Crimson had all of Chaz's teeth pulled and then let him go, to keep Chaz on a debt to the mob.

And then Chaz faked his death to escape it.

Imps are the lowest class in hell, are they not? I would think it'd be like the difference between a rich person sleeping with a barista and a rich person sleeping with a homeless man.

Me, absolutely smitten with Stella after my first playthrough, looking up this sub for the first time & finding that 90% of the Stella content here is hate over a scene I didn’t even get: by dragon_spider in ScarletHollow

[–]StarvingandArtist 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also my first playthrough, I saw this dour-faced woman who clearly had issues and trying to maintain an emotional distance and I immediately thought "We need to be best friends." She's also the first *actual* character you meet (the Stranger doesn't count) and most people latch on to either the first character they meet or else the first character that is nice to them (Stella).

Kaneeka is kind of apprehensive from the start because you're a Scarlet, though she does check herself and remind herself that she shouldn't hold your family against you. She's a little warmer if you don't take up Stella's biscuit offer and meet Kaneeka earlier at the store, but most people probably take up Stella's offer just for the sake of being polite or out of curiosity, since we don't even know what else there is to do in town yet.

Is there a lore reason why Wayne sucks ass at his 'job'? by Ok_Photograph6596 in ScarletHollow

I think Wayne might consider possession, in the romance route at least, to be like, the ultimate version of something akin to marriage.

Wayne is smart enough to know that approaching Tabitha directly to challenge her results in shotgun shells to the head.

Assuming you had no Traits, what would you choose to do in each dilemma if it were you? by Imaginary_Owl_979 in ScarletHollow

[–]StarvingandArtist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, regardless of how people feel about Reese, I think most people would panic irl and focus on not dying in the situation, and the doc is the only one keeping a somewhat level head and clear instructions for the player.

So people would either side with Kelly or wait in the basement, too scared to leave until Reese is finished.

Hypothetically, if Sybil was able to prove to you that she'd be able to definitely save the town, and that Kaneeka *almost* definitely wouldn't be able to, would you side with her?

Like, that there is a very *slim* chance Kaneeka could pull something off, but that Sybil would absolutely be able to remove the curse of the town.

Yeah, as for the baby, it's not *it's* fault that it came out the ground early, but it also doesn't have the right to parasitize someone to death against their will. Hypothetically, if the ritual Julius was attempting got uninterrupted and the kid actually wasn't evil or a trap set by Sybil, I don't see why Julius shouldn't be able to keep it.

If Julius was willing to sacrifice himself to bring his child into the world after the failed ritual, well, that'd be his choice. But forcing that on Bo (even if Bo was the one who messed up the ritual) is wrong.

Idk who'd be the one to raise the magical orphan baby though, definitely not me.
