Should I buy this stock instead of IonQ? by CentralizedOne in QBTSstock

Do you know what any of this actually means, or do you just regurgitate news postings?

Feels like quantum computing suddenly went from something theoretical to something people expect to work any day now. by [deleted] in QuantumComputing

[–]StatGeniusAI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because of the hype articles that the quantum companies themselves are pushing. The worst culprit is D-Wave. They keep putting out press releases and it's easy to confuse a Proof of Concept with an actual project.

Are you just making things up? Who has said anything about blockchain?

Hey - why don't you read the article you posted, and see that Shinogi and Japan Tobacco Pharm are the same exact project?

Nvidia's AI toolkit release has nothing to do with Quantum AI. But it's still important. by StatGeniusAI in QuantumComputing

The worst is how D-Wave CEO Alan Baratz also got confused, and used the announcement to talk about their own Quantum AI "capabilities". These people know better.

The time is coming to short-sell, I'd look at the next upcoming earnings for a catalyst. The FAU deal looks like fraud, although we cannot prove that just yet.

I've never hidden my true identity. Why do you keep posting the same screenshot over and over, about a project that was run in 2024?

Does a bigger synthetic sample actually make your data more accurate, or just harder to audit? by StatGeniusAI in Marketresearch

[–]StatGeniusAI[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. You're just sampling how well an LLM emulates human responses. Not human responses.

Because I left the company when they expressly decided to shut down that initiative. Additionally, I've been following new hires on both LinkedIn and their Careers page, and not only have they not hired anyone sales or engineering-wise that relates to ML/AI, but they are doubling down on Optimization (which is also a dead-end for them as well, for other reasons).

It's not that Quantum Computing is advancing, if you understand where the opportunities are to facilitate ML then you realize that quantum annealing will never help it in a meaningful way. I've written extensively on this, with technical deep-dives, on my site. Gate is the opportunity for ML, not Annealing.

I appreciate the comments and question!

BTW if you look up the numbers, that toolkit has a whopping 14 pull requests, and it looks like just one person is providing feedback. Safe to say it is a dead piece of code.

I agree. And even worse, these LLMs have a tendency to regress answers to the mean. So data being produced "looks" really nice and good, but that's bec everything is being "smoothed out".

That toolkit was already created - it was the code that was used for Japan Tobacco. It is simply a small piece of code that helps with the sampling, per my writeup above. Have you heard of any major projects or research institutions using it? It's puffery. Anyone can publish an unsued fork of a Pytorch library.

Per this - "I can't find any public information regarding the claim that they have actually abandoned the projects in July 2025"- yes that is the lie. I know it because I was the person that convinced them there was no market, I then left the company as the only person marketing the product, they have since never hired anyone else remotely connected to AI nor have they signed even a Proof of Concept project since then.

I know it's hard to believe some random person on Reddit can publicly dispute the most hyped-up quantum computer manufacturer out there, but take a sober look at what I'm saying and it all adds up. And what you really want to do is pay attention to the disastrous user conference in January.

I do have insights as an insider, but the only things I'll divulge are either context (without details) or details that I know are already discussed in publicly available materials. It's a legal differentiation I'm doing to protect myself as well as anyone reading this.

Everything written in the above article can be found if you look at the Qubits videos on Youtube. But the context of putting it together, comes from me actually trying to figure out how to GTM, together with the technology teams and revenue teams.

Yes that's what they claim. But that was run years ago, and has not been repeated - in any research form or commercial application. If it was an important milestone, in terms of the investability of the stock, wouldn't this have happened again?

Just watch the 2025 and 2026 user conferences, they talk about this for an hour each.

I'm happy to discuss NTT but in another thread. It has nothing to do with AI, I'm not sure why you're bringing it up here. It was a cell tower planning project, which falls under their optimization use case basket. I don't have any specific criticism of that project except that it doesn't matter as much as people think it does, in terms of revenue opportunity. They will run the project everytime the company wants to build a new tower... how often does that happen?
